Good bit of variety there Mike. Love the roar of the 91s when they power up just before setting off. Strange move that Grand Central Adelante crossing over from Down to Up platform lines when they run to Bradford or Sunderland.
A great chocolate box selection - excellent. I know a long lens compresses the perspective on some of these shots but there is some decidedly wonky track work on a few of those crossovers!
Some good stuff in this video Mike, and I did enjoy the cameo appearance of the two 56's in the distance...love the noise the 91's make when they are about to set off.....
You are very welcome Michael, when I get comment like yours its well worth the time it takes me with all the editing to share these videos. Regards Mike..
A stunning, brilliant, well made video my friend... Hats off to you Mike.... Flippin Donny!!! Haven't been to donny station in years.... Been to (what was the rail works) just before Christmas, delivering air filters to Seimans, but where I was getting unloaded I didn't see a single loco.... My best regards to Sue, your children and Dolly my friend.....
I did like visiting Donny works on a Sunday afternoon in the days when the class 50 were on the works, and the building of the class 56. Yes finger crossed we have got to the bottom of Dolly heath problems which has taken over a month, so thanks Nige for mentioning Dolly. You keep safe until next time. Mike.
That is good of you John to say I should return to Doncaster when possible, there are so many places I like to visit as I don't like to repeat the places I visit. Regards Mike.
@@antman09ful1 Wasn't the 67 you filmed right at the start still in W & S (without the brand logos of course)? Or is that the current Chiltern livery now? But it's a 67, not a 68....it get's complicated, don't it, especially when you live 10,000 miles away!
Love the comment about real trains, but are they still running because of problems with the Azumas, or were too few of the new beasties purchased to run the full service?
wow great video Mike and yes your right it is nice to see some propper trains and lets face it if they had scrapped all them L N E R would be in deep shit . I don't know who gave the nod to scrap what gone like the 3 in the beginning of your video but they want necking ' probably d f t idiot who's way out of touch with the real world sitting on his arse all day in some office . Look you Its great to hear them 91 stopping and starting up Darren, Been sometime since I went to Doney.
Dammit, you've got some really interesting movements going on up at Doncaster. Fascinating to watch!
Well mate that is very kind of you to say that, and thanks for watching.

Oh yeah when them 91s stop and start up again it sounds like a powerful loco.
Great Mike, not been to Doncaster in a while. Still looks like a great place to visit.
You must go as there is a real ale pub on the platform now.
My earlier reference about the 'running' - i had expected to see you describe the route of that Class 65 running south. Great video and great variety.
Many thanks Paul, but I don't about class 65s Mike.
Great session Mike. Glad that some of the 91s have been reinstated but sad seeing those two spare parts donors in the West Yard.
Yeah I agree Paul but as you say its great we can still have a ride behind a 91 at the moment. Cheers Mike.
Great video a lot of variety really enjoyed watching thanks for taking time to make it 😀👍
You are very welcome Michael, when I get comment like yours its well worth the time it takes me with all the editing to share these videos. Regards Mike..
Great vid Mike not been there for years must try to get there this year cheers Steve ..
I like you don't get there very much, maybe every two years possibly.
Thanks for viewing my video Steve, and I hope you are keeping well. Cheers Mike.
Great stuff Mike, still a great location to go and now the 91s are back that adds to the enjoyment
Yes I was pleased Ben to have seen three different moving class 91s, but I have known better times at that station. Cheers Mike,
The person who was getting on in yrs

Train doctor, roger senior. Is a wonderful book to read if anyone is new and interested in the history upto the class 91s...
Oh right ok, thanks for checking my video out.
Good stuff, nice to see a decent freight contingent going through.
Thanks mate for taking a look at my video.
Excellent, Thanks 👍👍 Mike.
I have to thank you for your continued watching of my videos mate.
Good filming Mike, dont see the blunt end of a 91 too often.👍👌👍
No I was in the right part of the station when that arrived, which was thanks to a guy who passed it on a train.
Sad to see so many 91's in a sorry state, stabled in the sidings.... Excellent video Mike
Yes It is Malcolm, the last time I was there they looked in better shape, cheers for viewing.
I was at Doncaster myself from : 07.30 till 11.45 also on May 1st at the end of the southbound platform.
Nice one David, I will check if I was out on May 1st.
No I wasn't out filming, It was a Saturday and I went to see a mate in Malvern.
Thank you, enjoyed all the train watching. Question, why do i see "DB" locomotives in England?
Thanks for watching Peter, DB took over the EWS company.
@@antman09ful1 Thank you, you learn something new every day
What happened to the guy that made some really good videos of trains he was so jolly and enjoyed it with a laugh miss him and is train journeys...
I you referring to the old guy who did a lot of talking on his videos Richard.
Great Videos as always and very up to date, its wants you to go to Donny on a regular basis
That is good of you John to say I should return to Doncaster when possible, there are so many places I like to visit as I don't like to repeat the places I visit. Regards Mike.
I agree Mike, great to see a real train or two better than all these "plastic" multiple units. Excellent as always Mike. Well done 🤓 stay safe 💙
I believe Tony they are going to use a few 91s for a few more years.
Cheers Mike and you keep safe also.
I need to go on a 91/mk 4 ride while they’re back
Me too Peter, but we have a few years before before they go again.
@@antman09ful1 I concur, the 91 will stay around for a good few year's yet.
Looked like a 67 still in Wrexham and Shropshire colours in the background of one shot.
I don't think so Tom, my be a DVT ?

My pleasure Steve, and I'm pleased you enjoyed It.
Is that a new car park covering on the very top of Frenchgate?..
It could be Gonzo, I must admit something looked different.
@@antman09ful1Blimey! I remember when it was 'Arndale'! Look at it now!
Love the comment about real trains, but are they still running because of problems with the Azumas, or were too few of the new beasties purchased to run the full service?
Well its the latter reason why a few 91s are back running on the ECML, but fingers cross the build of them plastic things run late.
Class video as allways Mike
You are a good man thank you.
Are those 3 class 91s with their nose ends missing at the start..withdrawn and going for scrap??
Sad to see if they are..
Been dependable for years..
Sadly they are Christopher, and most of the class will follow, cheers for you interest in my video.
Ohh Doncaster station good again with proper traction aka class 91s Mike
Yeah Andrew I was pleased that I filmed three moving class 91s, which was a bonus I think, was hoping to get two but not three. Cheers Mike.
Nice video Mike :)
Thanks for looking on my channel Simon.
What was the running you hadn't seen before.?
Seeing the 91 running light engine are you referring to Paul, or the 91 back on the ECML.?????
no LNER Azumas? Great video!
They are banned on my channel mate.
ah okay, great video none the less!
Love trains
Good stuff Kevin.
A GREAT VIDEO MANY THANKS ALL GOOD….
Glad you enjoyed it the filming Phil. Cheers Mike.
I thought the 91s were going
Most have, but around four sets are being kept in service to about 2023.
@@antman09ful1 as you mentioned 2023 the class 91s are leaving the East Coast Mainline!
Great video m8 im not getting notifications for your vids no more
Sorry to here that mate, my son had the same problem and he had to re-sub my channel.
