Mr Eric Lewis would you kindly make more Lore Videos of Dishonored. Its a Rare gem of a Game. We have only scratched the surface only with Dishonored the death of the outsider.
I’m glad somebody is keeping dishonored lore alive. What I really want to see is the rise of Daud and the Whalers, I almost enjoyed Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches dlc more than the main story because Dauds abilities and the Arcane Bond amongst the whalers was so unique. I mean, what was day to day life like as a Whaler?
@@ericlewisauthor That’s funny you say that because I wrote a fanfic too about some Assassin I named Marcel who Daud recruited in the year 1828 and develops a brother sister relationship with Billie Lurk. I left him out of the main plot points and he would in his free time try to find a way to either strengthen or attain abilities of his own. Then after her betrayal and the disbandment of the Whalers he would retreat to the shadows but with no more abilities from Daud he’d semi retire. I ended it there. I mapped out a way for him to make a resurgence in D2 that included Thomas and Billie Lurk but the death of the outsider kinda ruined a chance of that because tbh I wasn’t a fan of how that games story turned out. I couldn’t really fit mine into the canon either
Hey this maybe late but have considered a lore video about the Bloodflies? It may have been said that the bloodflies are one of the factors that kept the rat plague from spreading in Serkonos even Anton Sokolov believes bloodflies originated from the Pandyssian Continent.
Be cool if when you go to knock out a whaler they either try stick you with that poison needle or they just hit themselves with it, i mean they dont know you're just gonna leave em there
Brigmore witches are more of a cult than a gang same as the eyeless. Also I’m not even sure the whalers are a gang they’re more akin to mercenary’s than a gang like bottle street, hatters etc.
Yeah, I was debating on whether to consider them a gang, since they don't really have any businesses that I know of, and the video was already pretty long. I might do a separate video just about them at some point...
Interesting video, thank you for your efforts, can you do a video about the royal torturer he's a mysterious figure that has daud's powers and not affected by the bend time power
Oh man i really want a game about side characters in the Dishonored universe be it Granny Rags, Slack-jaw, Delilah, Breanna etc. Whoever it is, I don't want to be done with this game 😭😭😭😭
How do you do the voices in your intros? Is it a model trained from the voice lines in the game or do you find voice actors, cus if it's the latter DAMNN they are so good.
You mention us history a lot in these videos but never the numerous British influences on dishonored... almost all of it is British based. Its not a problem but its kinda wired you bring it up sometimes but never really go into the references to uk history. Its still interesting like how corvo is based on spring heeled jack.
I LOVE THE DISHONORED SERIES BOTH FOR ITS GAMEPLAY AND STORY. PLUS THE UNIQUE STEAMPUNK ART STYLE.
Dieselpunk imo, but agreed, it is sick af
Really nice to see someone still posting lore content about Dishonored.
Dishonored still lives!
Never Daud it!

I'll try!
This was a very interesting video, I wasn’t expecting you to talk about the Whalers but I’m happy that you did… They’re my favorite group.
Nvm I found you
@@Moneymaker30005 Not that hard to find eh?
My pleasure. Thanks again for reminding me about the Rat Gang too.

Yep there's not a whole lot of info about the period. I wrote a short fanfic about recruiting Thomas, but I'm not sure it fits with canon.

I absolutely love these lore videos! Please keep on! :)
Thanks, I'll certainly try!
Slackjaw is one of my favorite dishonored characters I dont even know why
Mine too! I based a major character in my latest book in him.
I really like these videos, amazing work!
Thank you very much!
I’m excited to watch this!
I'm excited for you to watch it!
Absolutely excellent video as always. Maybe my favorite so far. Please don’t stop!
Thanks, I'll try but man the visuals for these take a lot of time to put together.
@@ericlewisauthor the work shows man. Absolutely nothing sub par about your vids
9:30 Bro inspected the feet for this
Great video! i am glad to see someone covering dishonored lore after all these years!
Thanks, I think it gets more fascinating the more of it I learn.
paolo voiced by pedro pasccal
I listened to this like a podcast and greatly enjoyed it. Thank you, and long live Dishonored.

Definitely a possibility, I'll keep it in mind.

Really really good video. If you keep up the good work I'm sure this channel will be big in no time
Slackjaw I made you proud please don't send the bottle street gang after me
It would be pretty awesome if we had gotten a prequel game in which you play as a young slack jaw during his time on the up and up in the gang world.
Honestly, this deserves more views
You forgot the Brigmore witches

@@ericlewisauthor They are a gang similar to daud albeit they spend time at brigmore manor
Script done and recorded! Be a few more weeks for the visuals...

I'll see what I can dig up, and if there's enough material for a video I'd be glad to do one!
this video is great you are definitely underrated
Thanks so much!
Very informative video, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
So happy to see some Dishonored content!
Beautiful

Thanks fro the video.

I use play.ht with voices cloned from game dialogue. It usually does a good job but Slackjaw's accent made it tricky this time.
