Corvo was trained as bodyguard of emperors. He had outstanding fighting skill before he was given the power of outsider. While Daud was to relate to his given power so when Corvo fight him as same position - crest weilder. Daud couldn’t beat Corvo in sword dual and lead to his defeated.
Daud said killing the empress broke him. This could have had something to do with the outcome of his fight with Corvo. When Corvo fought Daud, it’s like Daud wanted him to win. The reason I say that is because he was taunting him with words like “strike harder,” and “You’re not fighting Lady Boyle, you know.” It was like he was encouraging him.
since Arkane Austin have been shut down and the founder of Arkane Leon left a few years ago, i think even if there is another Dishonored it wont be the same
I think you got some parts of the missions wrong. One of his books talks about how he does do Granny Rags recipes. The second game confirms that Daud did destroy the slaughterhouse. It’s in that Knife Of Dunwall, A Survivors Tale book. I know it’s exaggerated, but the Slaughterhouse was definitely destroyed. Meaning that he did help the workers and Abigail. Plus, at the beginning of Brigmore Witches, Billie’s note confirms that Daud had been collecting money for a way out. It’s the closest thing I’ve seen to collecting all the money in the missions being canon. Seeing as that Daud is trying to gather as much information in Delilah, it also seems likely that he talked to her statue in Timsh’s estate. I’d also say that seeing as that Daud likes giving people a taste of their own medicine, it seems likely that he definitely did put that plague stuff in Timsh’s air vents I like to think Daud did spare all of the Overseers, though seeing as that some of The Whalers are losing faith in him, it seems likely they secretly killed them, against Dauds orders. Seeing as that Daud looks at Corvo in a positive light and wishes he was more like Corvo, it also seems likely he saved the guard that helped Corvo. Though this one is more just wishful thinking I agree that he didn’t kill Lizzie’s betrayer. I also agree that he negotiated with the Hatters. But it seems likely that Daud would’ve caught onto the witches trick and interrogated her I agree with the rest of it though. Non-lethally taking out Delilah, sparing Billie Lurk and surviving Corvo is canon after all. Daud being who he is, it’s extremely likely that he ghosted his way through all of this with as little unnecessary or innocent blood on his hands as possible
For those who know "Kingdom Hearts", besides Roxas, who else would the Outsider find interesting ? Riku, Repliku or both ? My money's on Repliku. You see, Corvo is torn between his bloodlust and his commitment to Emily and Jessamine. Riku is fully commited to his friends, so how he uses his power is quite predictable. Bad, good, his mindset is clear. No fun there. And Roxas, in spite of his love, had a moment of weakness after Xion's death, feeling tempted to disrespect her last wishes in order to get Kingdom Hearts for himself. His spirit intact, who knows who or what he fights for.
You think you're gonna get your own squad after what happened last night?
Never Daud it.
Somehow corvo managed to defeat him.
I think daud is a skilled assassin and swordsman but Corvo was unrivalled with a blade
@@zombieclone98 they’re both equally skilled fighters I think. Except one thing … Corvo was angrier and maybe more stealthy
nobody could beat corvo 1-1

Doesn't the heart say Delilah has the scars from daud's sword in the second game? Pretty sure he killed her and her soul was pulled out of the void.
nicely done
Thank you, appreciate it!
Rip DOTO
Yeah i know, i considered including the DotO events but decided to cover them in another video for the sake of keeping it under an hour
FIRST (just like Duad)
Great video! Could you do character deepdive for Delilah?
Thank you, appreciate it! I will make a video on delilah, I'm working on 3 new Dishonored deepdives at the moment, Emily, Delilah and Billie
