Peter was simply goldust here on earth for too short of a time. He's adorable, as he holds back his silliness, (I think he could hv done a whole stand-up act abt. his experiences w/Helen Reddy). He's often an inch away from being "naughty" when he chats on.

Well his aunt did say that he was a naughty boy as a child on the episode of "This is Your Life". It's impossible to find the complete episode...that and the Bijou Concert! I've spoken to some video collectors and no one seems to have a copy.
I remember watching this, Peter was a great entertainer and love Christopher Cross' voice.

@@TheMusicMagicofPeterAllen No need for thanks - I’ve always been a huge Peter Allen fan. He was a brilliant performer and one of my all-time singer songwriters. I truly believe he should have been a star on the level with Sinatra, MJ, Madonna or Elton John. Thank god there is so much of his relatively brief time that still exists!
Sadly, he is an underrated and underappreciated person in the world of music. There are always more videos and songs to find! My goal is to track down as many as I possibly can!😊

and I never knew that Dudley Moore had a 'club foot' [I read it somewhere] but performed admirably in Arthur and in ;10; with Julie Andrews and Bo Derek. But he was always Pete and Dude comedy duo on UK TV.

I ❤ the movie too! I even like Arthur 2: On the Rocks though it didn't do well in the box office. Dudley and Liza are such a joy to watch together.

Is there any truth to the rumor that I heard that Peter's contribution was solely the turn-of-phrase "When you get caught between the moon and New York City" and the rest was written by Cross/Bacarach/Bayer Sager? Which is a huge contribution, of course. Its a fabulous tune. Thanks for this version.
I know it's crazy, but it's true! The line comes from an old song (but never released) that Peter and Carole wrote in the mid-1970s.
