I was there. This does not begin to capture it. He was truly one of a kind. No one like him - before or since. Pure, unique, extraordinary talent period.

I miss him so much. One in a million. I was here. Never forget it. Liza Minnelli drove past and stuck her head out of the limo and yelled Hello Peter!!!

You have a great deal of catching up to do. One of those acts that while terrific when recorded, only seeing him live captured him. A transcendent performer even during the era when rock was king.

I CHECKED YOUR COPY....FANTASTIC. THE PROBLEM I'M HAVING IS THAT I HAVE DVDS MADE FROM A PANASONIC RECORDER AND IT'S NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE SONY....SO WHEN I COPY THEM ON MY COMPUTER....ALL HELL BREAKS LOSE. I GET BITS AND PIECES THAT I TRY TO PUT TOGETHER AS YOU CAN SEE ..

he was a theatrical performer, not a rocker. while he had enthusiasm, he also was hampered by his music preference, which attracted an earlier generation.

The original Showtime telecast had much, much, much better audio, in full fidelity and stereo. without that this is disappointing.

He certainly had passion and enthusiasm...but let's face it...he was a crummy singer. His real talent was songwriting. When other people sang his songs...they shone. And I am an Australian!!
