I often reminisce on what used to be when I first listened to this song, I was a boy in a relationship with my young girlfriend and we were in love and were together for 2 years but we separated and grew apart I was 15 and I listened to this ,17 when I was not with her anymore, and now 27 with a woman whom I love very much and I can very much see us living this life together, everything included even down to the old couple working on their craft together and admiring the younger couples who can be our children or our friends. The women in the video sing and dance a song that is not part of my traditions - I am from Palermo - but a beautiful Apulian song. It's a shame that Prada contributes to such a distorted view of the Italian south. I do not recognize myself in these women, and Apulian women probably feel as puzzled as I am.
