ABANONED PENN AIRE MOTEL | DEAD MOTEL (CITY OF MOTELS)

- Welcome Pasters To Breezewood PA Once known as the City of Motels. Today’s explore is the Penn Aire Motel from the 1950’s. Not much is known about this motel but from what I was able to dig up, it was built in the mid 50’s and closed around the mid to late 2000’s. Roughly 2007/2008. This motel is a simple reminder of the simple times when things were once going well with Breezewood and the motel. With the sign reading, Family Rooms, Cribs, TV and Private Pool. An era of family vacations and simple but nice motels to have a rest for motor lodging going cross country in the big battle ax Vehicle of back in the day. We take you inside to look at what’s left of this dead and decaying motel.

Abandoned motels and hotels are always so eerie
They do have a odd sense about them. Thank you for dropping by 🤘

Thank you! This seemed to be a very nice one back in its day 🤘
No memories of staying in Breezewwod but many of passing through or stopping for gas or food. We called it the City of Lights due to coming out of the darkness from Bedford on Route 30 and seeing the glow in the sky.
Interesting.. I’ve been through a few times but never really stopped to look around and when we did we found a few spots. Thank you Dave. 🤘
Enjoyed the old post cards, nice use of period music too! ☃

@@PastLifeExplorer You are welcome.
This looks to be a good oldie but goodie👍🫶❤️
Saw it not long ago driving by. The walls are slanted bad. Looks ready for demolishing soon if not already. Glad I had a chance to film it.
i was there that place is in bad shape what a shame
It’s in worse condition than what I had originally thought. Glad I got it in before anything does happen. Thankx for watching my friend 🤘
That building looks like it won't hold up too much longer. So much decay. Those roof trusses that were stored looked in good condition compared to everything else. It's hard to believe any building can just get left with everything still inside. I often wonder why they don't at least give the furniture away to people who might make use of it.
I ran into a guy that gets his clothes from that motel in that town. Lol
It’s gonna fall at some point in these few years to come. Thank you for the comment Sue ❤️
@@PastLifeExplorer Well, at least he is making use of it! How many more desperate people out there that probably do the same thing.
He’s recycling for sure. Making use of the clothes
Dropped a like
Thank you Mo bro 🤘
At 18 minutes you left a plastic toy to rot? and picked up a brochure.
Hilarious.. donate that to Goodwill.. or let it rot?
I don’t really know how long some of those toys and clothes and furniture had been there weathering with mold and what else. I didn’t even take the brochure due to the condition of the motel. Heard people were staying in some to use so I don’t think kids would like having toys that seem unsafe. But I do understand that items can be reused but unfortunately not from this place. Thank you for taking interest 🤘
