About 3/4 of 5he way through you mentioned this turbo being a drop in for the factory if it’s failing, and then mentioned going under the valve cover and tweaking the fuel screw. You can do this without having to mess with the injectors?
If you have a 290hp cat 3116 from the factory OR have installed both the 4r9815 turbo and the 290hp governor AND had the rack setup to the 290 specs by a cat technician then yes this is a drop in turbo with no adjustments needed. I just got back from a long drive and my egts dropped across the board by 100 degrees so uphill I am hitting 1150-1200 egt temps instead of 1250-1300 that I was seeing with the older setup.
