Looking from 5:40 on the video Spirit didn't help his confidence in her. His introduction to her as a counselor was: "I want to know the number" at that time she was personal, and not because she said "I" but it was all over her how she viewed things. Steve followed immediately with, "Look we can beat this guy up" In my opinion they need to be counseled by a COUPLE for BALANCE. My face would have dropped too. Spirit is probably good in her practice, and I cannot take nothing from her, but in that space on that stage it would have been a no for me. The husband's face said what his mouth didn't.
Women have great intuition, never leave them out of important decisions.

This IS my marriage. This man is willing to discuss this on national t.v. and is open. Mine was not. I hope they stay married, he is doing the best he knows how. My exhusband wouldn't be open and so we lost all the money and we are divorced. I make my own money now but not enough. It has been a hard path. I hope they do better. My kids did get into college and are successful but the price to our family financially has been devastating.
This is the kind of housewife that needs to keep her skills up because he is selfish. He is focused on himself and does not value her opinions or mind.

OK, so I’m going to say what Steve and the two ‘experts’ should have said but deliberately ignored ie why, when finances are SO tight that you’re forced to sell your house and the husband is declared bankrupt (which will severely impede him obtaining credit for YEARS to come) did you add to your hardship/financial deficit and churn out three kids????? It’s absolute bl**dy lunacy! And to even raise the subject, albeit gently, of divorce - how in hell would each of you survive it, financially?
