    Would love if Effortless Swimming critiqued this stroke...

      Yeah exactly. What puzzles me is that almost everyone (Adam Ocean Walker, Skills n Talents, Effortless Swimming) teaches contrary technique 😁😩

      Yep been thinking that recently. I’m torn between Adam’s technique and more traditional swimming.

      @@philipbarker7672 These are sort of semi-scams. They are trying to show you an 'easy method which just works'. It is a business model. It works a bit for everyone but full blown only for a tiny minority. In swimming the best technique for you, has some unique elements based on your body structure, bone density, etc.
      So there is no option but to just swim for years under a good coach and keep working and keep observing.
      Yes, there are novel elements from these various styles which you should definitely experiment with! But don't expect too much.

    Unbelievable, i have always been taught to not rotate the whole body, just the shoulders.

    U can also note that "new" style of his is more sliding, so there comes deaccelerations ja accelerations more. And when u go more to your hips, and side u will need we powerful kick to come there "back" and after that make the pull. That dont work to all at start, u will gonna drop your hip and your swim is then like hopping, have gone thru that.

    Adam...watched all your vids...you make it look so darn easy...are your hips turning 90 degrees...cant quite tell...you appeared to be doing a full 90 degree turn with your hips in the drone vid that you did several years back...please enlighten us.

    Hello Mr. Walker, please clarify what is the difference between Walker technique and Total immersiom technique?

    • @adamwalker32
      @adamwalker32  2 роки тому +6

      Ocean Walker Technique rotation comes from the feet with a roll, kick and pull. No from arm spearing. Also only pull on my side. More rotation, deeper arm, different head position. Mechanics totally different,

      It works in all conditions. I used it in completing ocean’s 7, Toughest 7 ocean swims in the World. I had huge swells when I swam 15.5 hours non stop across Tsugaru channel and again 60 kilometres non stop across Molokai channel. The stroke was the difference.

    It seems when his cadence is faster he is not pulling very efficiently which indicates less effort to me.
