      @nigelbevan8449 , My mother passed in 2014. Well my daughter had 3 kids at the time and the youngest was 5 years old. So at the funeral they are sitting front row for the open casket, just the head part was open. Everyone is talking low as normal, when suddenly in a loud voice the 5 year old " Mommy, when they are done, are they going to put granny back together?" Whole room broke out in laughter.
      They had watched a magic show on TV where the magician cut a woman in half 2 days before.

    No metal pieces should EVER accompany the body into the crematory, all of that should be removed beforehand!

      Metal pieces can be implants or nail from the casket

  • @04smallmj
    @04smallmj 2 дні тому +4

    The process in this video is wildly different from here in the UK, and probably most of Europe. Here, the cremator is pre-heated until the secondary chamber is at least 850/800 degrees C, depending on whether the crematorium has mercury abatement equipment fitted. The ID of the coffin is checked before it enters the crematorium and again before being charged into the cremator. An ID card follows the body/ashes through the processes. The coffin is charged as received at the crematorium and we only rake the cremains out when the process is complete (when there is no flame visible with the cremator burner off). Any large pieces of metal are removed before the cremains are processed in a cremulator to turn them into ash. The remaining metal can be retained on request but this is rare. Usually this consists of small staples from the coffin unless the person had metal implants.
    6:36 - these body parts would be the first to burn and would probably leave no ashes.

    • @SUMBER_AGUNG
      @SUMBER_AGUNG  2 дні тому

      The cremation process indeed varies significantly across regions, reflecting local regulations and practices. In the UK, the stringent protocols ensure identification and proper handling, which can provide peace of mind for families. It's interesting to note that certain body parts may not produce ashes, as their composition can affect the cremation outcome. The attention to detail, such as removing metal pieces, emphasizes the respect and care involved in the process.

    • @SUMBER_AGUNG
      @SUMBER_AGUNG  13 годин тому +1

      Sure! That’s an interesting comment! Perhaps the operator chooses to dress simply because the situation is quite serious. As for cremation in a coffin, some people find comfort in using a coffin as a final tribute. It can be a matter of tradition or a personal choice to honor the deceased. What do you think about that?

    • @lisamaitland157
      @lisamaitland157 12 годин тому +1

      I would assume because its very hot down there, and no one see's them as part of customer service. Casket would just be something that was bought for viewing the body. Your cost goes up big time if you have a viewing, because you must have a casket for the person. So the next question is did you want to keep that casket after the love one was already dead in it, and the possibility of them leaking in the liner already? During the viewing, it might not be noticeable but they place paper cotton up the nose and lock the mouth so no leaking or gas sounds happen during said viewing. Mouth part is only done sometimes depending if the mouth keeps open to far or there is expelling, nose is done all the time.

    All funeral homes have what’s called a rental casket. There usually an oak casket and when viewing is being done you can’t tell it from a regular casket. When it’s time for the cremation the inside liner is snapped out of the rental and the person is rapped in it and removed from the casket. The person is then cremated without the full casket.
    The funeral home will then place a new liner in the rental for the next family.
    These rentals usually run around $850.00.

    • @SUMBER_AGUNG
      @SUMBER_AGUNG  13 годин тому

      Thanks for sharing that information! Rental caskets do provide a practical option for families, allowing them to have a dignified viewing without the higher costs associated with purchasing a full casket. It’s great to know that funeral homes can offer such solutions, making the process a bit more affordable while still honoring the deceased. Have you encountered many families who opt for this option?

    I had dated someone who worked for a funeral home and he showed me the steps and I was so freaked out I had nightmares and couldn't get it out of my head for years and I mean years. I chose cremation for myself and my son's and most of my friends had chosen cremation as well. Ten years ago I was in an accident and got 2nd degree foot Burns and I didn't like it Then but cremation was the only thing that I could afford. My biggest fear is to be cremated ALIVE.

    • @Bonzi_Buddy
      @Bonzi_Buddy 23 години тому +1

      Do not worry. I have ready only 1 out of 20 cremations the person being cremated was “alive” and could feel the sensation of being burned.
      I know some so-called experts on death say it is possible for the soul contained in the body to experience what happens to them post-death but they are quacks.

    • @SUMBER_AGUNG
      @SUMBER_AGUNG  13 годин тому

      I completely understand why that experience would be so unsettling-it’s definitely not something everyone can handle. It’s good to hear you’ve made decisions for yourself and your loved ones that align with your feelings. The fear of being cremated alive is a common concern, but rest assured, cremation is only done after all legal and medical protocols are followed to confirm passing. Your feelings about the process are valid, and it’s important to talk about these fears. Have you found any ways to cope with those anxieties?

      Cremation offers several benefits: it's often more cost-effective than burial, it requires less land use, and it allows for flexible memorial options. Additionally, many people find comfort in the idea of keeping ashes close or scattering them in meaningful places. It can also be quicker and simpler, aligning with personal or cultural preferences.
