I’ve used your drill calibration method the past 2 years. I like the thought of an air seeder but too many hoses to get plugged or come off, lol! Nice rig!
I always pull over for farm equipment just to give them the bigger birth it just takes a few seconds in an accident takes longer but then again that's just me
I believe you should try this and see if there is a difference. Bush hog the corn stalks down before you spray and plant and see if the cover crops and wheat comes up better or worse. Put a bolt behind the T handle and see it if the bolt will keep it at the right dept. Have a great day be safe.
The wheat farmers run short test run with the air drill up of fertilizer or seed on the ground multiple times a day and walk to see if all the runs have fertilizer or seed below them. Some of the wheat farmers run blockage monitors on every run also. The wetter the soil the more often they check.
they do when they have someone to do it. Last year they did it a lot. I think it was Kelly's father they had doing it. He is a bit too old for it now Im afraid
My dad still bush hogs. We do not bush hog the corn stalks, only the cotton stalks. The drill cuts down the corn stalks well enough when planting cover crops. This year, we did bush hog one field of corn stalks, but that was because Matt was ripping that farm up.
Good video good to see y'all
Put stalk stoppers on your corn head
I like the narrow transport but other than that I believe I'll stick with my old simple 1560. 😂
Kelly you are beautiful person outside and inside.. keep the faith God bless
Awe thank you! I appreciate that

Okay thanks for the reply Ms. Kelly.
Do you still do the cover crop blend that had okra and squashes in it?
