- Fuel leak from the tandem pump caused by the gasket. Removing the pump and replacement of the tandem pump gasket.
Engine is 2.0 16v BKP 140hp
car is VW Passat B6 2007

Has this fixed the leak Im thinking a full gasket set would be a better long term option

Thanks i did rebuild on my a4 b7 2.9 tdi bre, but now is leaking oil and the car brakes, before rebuild it was leaking diesel and had no brakes, no sure what i did wrong, any advise?
Maybe something on the inside. Try another pump ?

Check the top hose i think its vacuum i had trouble getting mine back on it had a small rubber gromit just needs pushing inside the tube then it went on pretty easy
Isnt this gasket leak main cause for bad warm start, my car cranks when warm, and in the morning starts like a dream, 2.0tdi BKD
I don't know, Could be. I did not had any problems with hard start
That’s probably the fuel pump if it’s hard to start when warm. They are expensive. But you can find companies to renovate them quite cheap. Good luck.

I have the same engine. Hard start in the morning. And after 2-3 hours after engine is turned off. I change 2 injectors, injector seals, glow plug, and the same problem. Can u help me please????
Can be the pump , but best is to someone that can read data and read the car in the morning, see the pressures and find the problem.
