In todays Team fortress 2 animation meme nft meme we see tf2 Heavy learns that they are making kitty0706 nfts, the late kitty0706 is a very well respected UA-camr amongst the gmod and tf2 community, but apparently someone has started selling nfts of his youtube channel without permission. So Heavy gaming tf2 is on his way to the nft investors house, the same nft guy who is selling the kitty0706 nfts, Heavy tf2 then warns him that god will not be so merciful with him for his actions, Heavy gaming Team fortress 2 saves the day (kind of). Very cool and epic.

This hit me hard already by the fact Kitty is dead, but the fact of all people, the fucker did it to Kitty0706, the very man that made me love Gmod, defined my childhood and helped in making me the man i am, is what made me wish i could just get a job at CIA or somewhere like that, just to find that guy and go to prison after committing a lot of brutal injuries on this grave defiler.
I never even knew the kitty person but one thing is for sure, the fact that these people make nfts of dead people is actually disrespectful and should be reported immediately.

He was a well known Gmod Animator from the Golden age of UA-cam. Just go watch his stuff, He's videos are still on UA-cam and they are still great to watch even to this day.
the thing is that the only place where you could shut down the nft is where the file is being hosted, and if that is some service provider that can actually do something about it, afaik if the file is hosted in ipfs there is no way to permanently delete it so shutting down things like this is sadly quite hard :(

I genuinely cried my eyes out when i heard kitty died, and it wasn’t any better when i found that out 7 years after his actual death. I watched the video he made again and absolutely loved it all over again, and then i watched the remake which was made in tribute for him, and i cried even more that so many amazing people did what they could to do their part in the making of that remake. You mean everything to the whole tf2 community colin. And no one can ever say otherwise without lying, and no one can ever replace you. Stay awesome even after death. And Godspeed.

NFT's are the Pestilence confirmed. I'm disgusted, I don't have words to describe this feeling...
i mean, they've already done lots of things like this already... (like profiting off of multiple dead people including this person and Stanley, those are the 2 biggest ones I can think of off the top of my head) plus, they already had TONS of OTHER problems, possibly including Climate change problems. Solar Sands made a GREAT video about NFTs which talks about all the upsides and actual problems with NFTs, you should check it out. it's got a lot more info than most videos about NFTs and can tell you a lot more than this one comment ever could.
At first I figured if these were going to function as forms of anti copy systems I figured maybe I should utilize it on my own characters that I had designed. But the more I hear about them the more I realize that I don't even want to associate with these kinds of people.

I still remember the trauma I felt learning that kitty was dead years after his death when I found his old videos. I was just binging random tf2 videos cuz I was into the game at the time, and found out. seeing this just... no. Absolutely no. NFTs, as a concept, sounded amazing, a way to make everything you get online genuinely unique, but it's been so brazenly abused every single day, and now it's outright exploiting people's deaths. Stan Lee, Kitty, and god knows who else.
I genuinely hope the people who do this shit have karma bite them so hard in the ass that they lose every cent they've earned, or spent, on these NFTs. They are disgusting human beings.

I go back to Kitty's videos at least once or twice a year to try and relive that era. I remember downloading his videos onto my phone because I had no wifi so I could watch it at home. He really gave me happiness when I was at my lowest point. I hope that everyone who watches this video goes and checks out his stuff and knows as much as I do how we lost an amazing artist and comedian. I will miss him
Seeing his video for the first time maybe a couple of months after he had made it was truly amazing. Learning he had passed years later was devastating. Hearing just now they made an NFT out of him is infuriating.
They did not turn Kitty0706 into an NFT, for that is impossible.
They created a worthless piece of digital code hosted on a website, called it Kitty0706 and conned people into believing that it has value.
Little do they know that any value they try to put on Kitty0's legacy isn't nearly enough. His work and influence is priceless

@@fallongarens6734 Unfortunately because you can fall from Heaven and end up in Hell but not leave Hell to end up in Heaven means that everyone will end up in hell over an infinite period of time and in turn everyone suffers for an eternity in Hell.
Heaven is actually a pretty messed up place the more you analyze things.
