There's no reason to be ashamed of 2WD truck. You said it several times, "I can do anything I need in this truck." Most people will never use their 4WD systems that cost them an extra $3k-$5k. If you're using your truck to just tow your camper, haul trash to the dump, basic work truck style... 4WD isn't necessary. That being said, 4WD has its place in certain terrains, boat ramps, snow prone areas, etc. And, the 4.3 V6 is a fantastic and proven engine platform.
By the truck at the end of the lease term or turn it in one year before the lease term is ended and you will not have to pay early lease termination fee if you going over the miles
I never thought about leasing one of these trucks. I'm not a huge fan of the custom look compared to some of the other higher end models of the Silverado, but you can't pass up the monthly price! I would have to have 4x4 though! otherwise I want the same thing.
Yeah I would like to know as well because I have a Custom Silverado and the lower trims that were made prior to 2020 do not come with storage in the center console
It's a lease; soooo it's NOT ACTUALLY "$200/mo" because you're not factoring in insurance costs...any time you lease or even finance a vehicle a vast majority of states regulate and require that you maintain full-coverage on the vehicle for the duration of either/or lease/financing terms. Which though the base payment to GM on a monthly basis may very well be in the neighborhood of $200/mo. However, if full-coverage on a vehicle that you don't technically own costs you $300/mo (rough national average estimate) this makes your actual monthly payment pertinent to the vehicle in question around $500/mo give or take a $100 bill here or there which again makes the option of a lease predominantly cost-prohibitive.
Where did you get the bed liner? I bought one but it has cut outs around the bed lights and the tie downs exposing the paint. So disappointing especially after the $500 bill🤦♂️

Vehicles are not equity builders. They depreciate and cost you more in maintenance and repairs the longer you own it. Leasing is the way to go if you don’t drive a lot.
There is no way he leased this truck for $250 a month and employee pricing is only good toward buying, not leasing. The best deal I was offered was $2500 down which includes tax, all the phony bank fees, DMV and first month's payment, and forgiving my last three payments on my 2018 lease for a payment of $345 a month. I would have went for it for an LT but too much money for a custom.

Make sure you swap out the canooter valve. It will save your engine
What is a canooter valve...lol.
By the truck at the end of the lease term or turn it in one year before the lease term is ended and you will not have to pay early lease termination fee if you going over the miles
Nice truck!!!! I need to get one at the $250/month promotion!
It's a lease...
For a family, I would argue that a 4 door pick up is the most functional family vehicle there is.
And you can get the same deal that Riley got with Employee Pricing for all.
Lmao Yeah that or great credit with the lease deal Chevy has. It works everytime bro
Why do anything to it when you say it's a lease?
I never thought about leasing one of these trucks. I'm not a huge fan of the custom look compared to some of the other higher end models of the Silverado, but you can't pass up the monthly price! I would have to have 4x4 though! otherwise I want the same thing.
Do you have the link to the lower center console? Can’t seem to find it
Yeah I would like to know as well because I have a Custom Silverado and the lower trims that were made prior to 2020 do not come with storage in the center console
The RST model is my favourite trim Right?
Can you link that floor center console accessory?
With the chip shortage how long do you think it will take for a ordered one to arrive? Great video!
Great video and your truck is beautiful..
It's the cold air fan motor
Where did you get the bed liner? I bought one but it has cut outs around the bed lights and the tie downs exposing the paint. So disappointing especially after the $500 bill🤦♂️
I have a 2021 Silverado LT with lots of options, but has conventional bulbs for the tail lights and the OEM LED Headlights. I'm not sure how some custom has the LED tails but some LTs don't. lol Scratching my head.
I know I am late to the party but where did you get that floor console? I have the same Custom Silverado that comes with no storage in the armrest
That mullet might just maybe just maybeeee get you some more followers.
You mean subscribers

Mr. TAMW ohhhj
@RP Productions it's probably more fuel efficient too
i like the ford eco 2.7 but i like the chevy 4.3 i dont know anymore i have 2011 ford ranger with 17,000 miles when i first got it had it for 6 yrs never had a issue just in need a bigger truck thats more comfortable
Whats the great deal? You leased it and you get zero equity
250 bucks to borrow the truck for a couple years
Vehicles are not equity builders. They depreciate and cost you more in maintenance and repairs the longer you own it. Leasing is the way to go if you don’t drive a lot.
Cool! MTB life, you should do some MTB vids! Do you road cycle as well?
I’m also in the market for an truck. Looking forward to the 2022 refresh on the GM trucks or the 2022 tundra. I’m looking for a 4x4 Elevation or rst
Watching another lame car video but as soon as I found out he was growing a mullet that sealed the deal. I stopped watching.
How much total Money down to be at $250 a month? How long is the term?
There is no way he leased this truck for $250 a month and employee pricing is only good toward buying, not leasing. The best deal I was offered was $2500 down which includes tax, all the phony bank fees, DMV and first month's payment, and forgiving my last three payments on my 2018 lease for a payment of $345 a month. I would have went for it for an LT but too much money for a custom.
Being that this bed is 5'10" overall can it still fit your standard 6ft ladder in the back notmally without putting on diagonal and taking up half the bed space?
Look for something in your climate somewhere in the Setttings. maybe in the Personal I have just gotten a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer RS in the Midnight Blue.
In my experience all remote cars do that don’t know which are able to customize the settings but would be good if they did!
Also I’m disappointed Riley. You have a mullet and got a new truck, and DIDN’T do a burnout? Putting Houston to shame.
jguerra0117 it sure if it COULD do a burnout lmao
Am I the only one that thinks the absence of. Steering wheel audio. Controls being the most egregious de-contenting GM can do? It's a deal breaker for me.
Something about turning a key in a 2021 vehicle not sitting well with me idc how base model it is I thought push button start was standard
I prefer the key start
WE THE PEOPLE I’ve been keyless entry and push start for too many years to go back to turning a key.
@@HemivsNinja yeah I get what you're saying I had a 2012 Toyota Camry that came with a push button so the fact that Chevrolet is still making vehicles with keys in 2021 is shameful. Regardless of the trim level it should be keyless by now
@@leir2005 it’s not just Chevy, my company has at 2020 Ford ranger that you still have to turn a key in as well. The thing has forward collision warning but you have to turn a key. Makes no sense. Tech is way too advanced to still be having to use keys regardless of trim
u have a link to buy that console cup holder add on on amazon?
A lease ?? & u can change out things & stuff on it ...don't u have to turn it back in eventually
Yea we just got the truck about two weeks ago
Man, Daddy s money sho comes in handy.
That garage is cleaner than my house.
What good is a lease? Restricted to low miles, heafty down payment on something you never own ,never ending time frame of monthly payments . Better off to buy and own , better yet buy , keep for 12 to 15 yrs after 60 months bank all that payment amount more than pays for repairs and maintenance costs. My 08 bought and paid for yrs ago and no monthly payment
Also if you don't mind me asking, what's the mileage restrictions on leasing that truck?
No ac vents in the back till 2019, my 05 crew cab has rear vents bud
can you link the center console, please?
