"Mine All Mine" has one of my favorite Eddie solos. It's one of those solos that nobody else besides him could have come up with.

Fantastic album. This one had to grow on me. But, once that was done, I was hooked. Mine All Mine is a masterpiece. I went to my masters degree jury after listening to that song and passed.
You are so spot on, Mine All Mine is a total masterpiece. It's been my favorite song since the day I heard it. It's a song I keep to myself and never share it with anyone ❤
I was in the Navy, deployed in the Persian Gulf. My brother sent me the cassette tape, the lyrics to Mine All Mine exploded my brain. “You’ve got Allah in the East, you’ve got Jesus in the West, Christ what’s a man to do”.
Mine All Mine is one of the best songs Van Halen ever recorded and I’m a die hard fan of 40 years.
I wrote a paper in college on the song Mine All Mine. That was an A+ paper fellas. It also changed my professor's mind about Sammy. He was into groups like The Minutemen, you know, Punk Rock. He was impressed with how the lyrics affected me and how I viewed events in the world, and my life at the time..
You never know how music can change hearts and minds.

@WolfieVanFrankenStryker I went back to school for retraining after being injured as a firefighter. So I was in my early 40’s. I had some great teachers in English, Speech, and Math.
My Math teacher was really great at inspiring me to work hard at math, which doesn’t come easily to me.
Teachers are really important in letting our talents come to the surface.

Hands down the best van hagar album. Arguably the best late 80s hard rock album.
Graduated high school the month this came out so every time I hear these songs it takes me back to so many memories of that time.
I have to admit, I wish I could have lived the life of Sammy Hagar: What an epic life.
Truly creative and great recording. A great time in their band life.

This has been my absolutely all time favorite album since the day I listened to it over 30 years ago
I sure wish Alex would join them on their tour next year. Wolf joining them for a few dates playing the lead would just be awesome as well. Incredible album by the way !!!!

I love that they are still out there playing live shows! i wish they could just do an Eddie tribute tour with anyone that has been associated with him coming along as much as they want. Singing each others songs or even everyone singing together, for the fans

When I was in high school, I recorded a buddy's copy of OU812 on one side of a cassette and Appetite for Destruction on the other side. I eventually bought both on CD a few years later, but man, that was my all-time favorite tape!
Drop the needle/pick a track, ANYthing I hear off this album and I can see, feel and still smell the summer air of 1988.
Sammy Hagar was a great role model for young American men. Truly a talented man.
What's a GREAT combination? Going to the Corvette Museum 2024 Anniversary event and then stopping to see Sammy & Co. on August 31 in Maryland Heights, Missouri!

To me, Cabo Wabo, is one of the best riffs and songs.🤘🏻
IMO, this was Eddie's best album with Sammy. Not my favorite overall with Sammy, but favorite guitar album. Killer riffs, great tone etc. Could have been mixed a little better but when you add up the guitar work it's an A+. Change of pace from song to song. Listen to each riff and each solo, come on man. Nobody could touch that at that time or ever for that matter.
A small piece of Rock and Roll history, which we're all greatful for. U guys are one of the greatest bands ever. ❤ U guys keep on rock'n 🎸 Thank you
For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge was the first Sam-Halen album I bought. I was 14 bought it with my paper route money. When I got home I threw it on and was hooked. Shortly after that I got OU812 and still to this day is my favorite Sammy-Halen album. Love Eddie's guitar work on that album! Keep on rockin guys!!

I proudly own that Album and remember those young lads on the cover... still looking great, aged like a bottle of fine wine, and still rockin it out! One of the best albums of all time. Eddie VH. guitar playing genius and legend.
MINE ALL MINE featured in my opinion some of the best lyrics SAMMY ever wrote.

The album wasnt my favourite but it leaves an impression on me unlike the others. That's a sign of greatness.

OU812 is one of my top 12 Van Halen records. Kidding. It is a very special album of music to me. I was 17.

I saw the Monsters of rock show in Maine. It was a Monsoon. Loved Van Halens New material at the time. "Mine all Mine" is a fantastic song.

My favorite Sammy era VH album. I put the first 4 Roth era albums 1-4 and this is number 5.
I only wish the sound was a little bit more aggressive. A thin sounding album.
That was evident from the first interview I read of the four of them from Musician Magazine in 85. Funnier than anything Dave ever said.
Mike was an underrated part of Van Halen
Mine All Mine.... The song that "really" entrenched VH into me.
I was just an infant during the Roth era, but, I did get into VH around 1984 as a little kid.
OU812 was the album that really cemented the band in me though, and Mine All Mine, is easily in my top 3 VH songs, without a doubt. If not #1 on many occasions.

Was fortunate enough to have seen you all on stage many times starting when I was 13 in 79 Sammy, Scorpions and Pat Travers, then VH in 80 for the first of 8 times in a row 4 with DLR and 4 W/ Sammy in St. Louis, all great shows, we snuck down to 14th row during 79 Sammy concert, 2 girls from school had invited us so we had to try.
First time i seen v h was on this tour
I remember saving up for a couple of weeks during summer junior year working on a horse farm to buy that album. I tell you. Stacy sure did look good riding on the side of my John Deere tractor with me. Good Times if you know what I mean

This album came our after Dave's Eat'em and Smile, so it was a play on that...at least I read that at one point many years ago.

not to get off the VH subj, but I remember the first time I heard Rock Candy & Bad MotorScooter on a tape player riding my bike with a teammate to little league baseball practice, how could u not be a Sammy fan for life.....and then circa 78-81 driving up to tahoe or over 17 to Santa Cruz on a Saturday cranking a VH tape. Everytime to this day, when I hear a song from VH/VanHagar I remember things we were doing when we first got the tapes/cds and played the F out of them.
