My very first away match watching my team Halesowen Town , was @ heritage park ( V Darlington ) . Had an excellent day there . Until about 20 minutes from the end & the heavens opened . But Darlo fans were great & the ground impressive . Would one day like to revisit Heritage park . An impressive ground .
Bishop Auckland v Crook town F.A. amateur cup final 1954 attracted a crowd of 200,000 spectators at the final and 2 subsequent replays. Sadly we'll never see that sort of passion again.
