I want that Ana Skin bro, It looks sick!!! Always love your work.
Thanks man! It's coming out soon, need to fix a few things, can't wait to drop, it's a lot of fun to work with 👍
@@EchoSoundWorks Bruh I also would like that ANA 2 skin :)
Wow, best-sounding Reece tutorial I've heard. GJ.
Thank you 🙏
I was just looking for a reese bass tutorial for any synth and found this. This helped me a lot.
Awesome as always bro, love the content & sounds!! 🔥
DixonBeats thanks man! Love your channel
You the best man, thank you for this amazing content!
Lax Bold thanks Lax, that means a lot
that was great, thanks

MaskedTiger thanks! Glad it helped out
Really great tutorial, thanks
palewine thank you!
That OP1 style ANA skin though....
Shane , thank you for everything that you do for the music making community ! Simply The Best Sound Design Tutorials !
Can I ask you by the way, what is your model of the coaxial Genelecs? Are you happy with them ?
iwrwr thank you!
They are nice but I don’t know if they are worth it. I still use my HS8s quite a bit. They are the 8inch Sam ones
@@EchoSoundWorks Interesting! I was led to believe that these are some of the Best speakers money can buy,but I guess I should listen to them first !
Keep on with these amazing tutorials! Literally the Best out there ! And I encourage everyone to purchase your preset packs ! They are indispensable !
@@iwrwr I really appreciate the support! They are nice monitors, but I don't know if they are as nice as the price tag warrants if that makes sense. I like my monitors to be really unflattering, like an NS10, and these have a little more hyped sound than I would like.
Teenage Engineering skin for ANA2? Nice ;)
Thanks Casey!
when will the ana 2 skin be released, it looks sick
Hey Shane! can you teach us how to side chain with midi in LogicProX please?
AJ Turgeon yeah! I’ll do that this week
Awesome sound design vid! But how do I get a clean rumble on my 808s I add distortion using either phat FX or stock distortion but I feel like my 808s always get lost in the mix
Hey thanks! Do you have a multiband distortion or saturation plugin? That's the easiest way to do it. You can drive the mid and high frequencies without touching the sub range
@@EchoSoundWorks that makes a lot of sense, thank you.
I've been working on a dnb track with some heavy neuro basses and I've been struggling with getting their movement right. I've got two saw waves one of which is shifted up a semi tone to get that pulsing effect but it feels too slow and when they cancel each other out it loses its power. Any tips? Is there any way to tempo sync the phase cancelation?
Are they serum presets? You could send them to me and I will see what's going on.
You could try tweaking the saw waves until you get the desired speed/movement on your ROOT bass note, record that 1 note for 8-16 bars,(you want it to be long) bounce to audio and then resample in quick sampler, this way you know the root know has the correct movement and when you go up or down a note or octave the speed will changed in a fixed more controlled way, hope that made sense.
@@ConnorTostevin1 I hadn't thought of resampling but that makes perfect sense. Thanks!
@@colincosta-walsh2160 you're welcome! hope it works for you
@@colincosta-walsh2160 this is similar to the way older DnB producers processed reece basses, you can go in and add more drive and filters in the sampler and also try doing a bandpass filter with some reverb for intro's or breakdown, a Hall reverb Low passed works great on reece basses, but try stuff out you will know what sounds right!
Damn ! Can we buy this amazing serum skin ?
SiToZeN the serum skin is a free download on our site! www.echosoundworks.com/esw-ableton-dark-serum-skin
@@EchoSoundWorks OH thank you so much for you work, wonderful !
