    You could add 2 more sockets or a length of pipe to a bit longer length of rebar, then you can spin the spanner / wrench round and round instead of only 30 degrees and ratcheting. Also... did you figure how to push in the new ones??!!

    Is it often that bushings are too tight? I have the problem that my Reba always had a response like a rusted Suntour fork. But I had a look inside and everything is lubricated well. The lower legs, the seals, the air spring, enough oil. But the casting was rubbing over the upper legs when I put it over and it needed some force to glide it up and down while installing them.

      Yes, apparently they are too tight sometimes. Some shops will burnish the bushings as a service. Shockcraft in New Zealand does. May have to look locally to find a specialist. Not terribly easy to find.
