The two ice maker buckets rest on top of an ice maker shelf that is designed to go immediately under the ice maker on the highest rail. If the ice maker shelf is placed in a lower position, ice will overflow from the bucket since it requires more ice to reach high enough for the ice level arm to come in contact with the ice.
There is only one place for that particular shelf to go on.
Are you sure of that? Like Joshua, I see an unused pair of supporting rails just above the ice buckets…

Agreed, you can see in the video that they have the top lip of the ice drawer installed in the slot where the bottom of the ice drawer should be installed.
Alright you all, you didn’t give up after I looked and looked and said it wasn’t possible. So I gave it another try and sure enough I just needed to reposition the shelf. UA-cam community for the win!
Our first Samsung fridge lasted us 19 years, bought it in 2005 when we got married. We just bought this one and was installed yesterday :) we upgraded because the internal water hose on the first one finally gave out, easier to replace the whole fridge than fix it.
Your earlier video on this fridge convinced me to purchase this style of fridge. We do have the panel Bespoke version though. I love the fridge! ours too is counter-depth and is plenty of space for us. Just wanted to let you all know that the ice will shut off automatically. I have tested it out. Could be that when the bin is very full, as you scoop out some of the ice you are knocking some of the bits out of the back ( I have done this many times). For now, just having the Ice Bites going is more than enough for the two of us. We turned off the Ice Cubes and use that as extra storage space. We have the white glass panels on ours, and for this year Samsung is offering an extra set of panels to units purchased at the time we got ours. I will probably go with the light blue ones.

Thank you for this review. I have already purchased it at the end of the December based on your old review, I am from Europe (Slovenia) and I can only thank to you. So far I am very satisfied, there is not much things I would change. At the moment I only have to find out how to organize things in the refrigerator... the biggest issue is how to separate veggies, fruits and cheese&salami section. Before I had three crisper drawers - one for each section, now it have only two, and I can't decide where to put veggies. Or I have to move cheese&salami section elsewhere and put veggies in the right crisper drawer. Thank you again for making this 1-year review!

I'm in the DR group and saw the video when you first posted it. I saw the refrigerator in the store a couple of days before your post but didn't know how to open the beverage center door.
I did have to have my refrigerator replaced due to the ice maker freezing up and them not knowing when the part would be in. Other than that, I still love it!
So sorry to hear you had an issue. Everyone gets tripped up with the beverage center door, but once you get the hang of it, it gets more natural.
THANK YOU! I am in Canada. We are planning a new home (time tba) and I have been thinking hard about this Samsung Flex fridge. I watched your first video but this one was EXTREMELY helpful! I'm still thinking of Samsung. We have had a now obselete Samsung fridge in our current home for more than a decade and, while it's not as flexible and does not hold as much as the Flex does, we have had no issues (other than the awful grinding which happens from a regular ice maker when dispensing ice). Great video! I am in the market for a new fridge. You said the flex model is the same as bespoke except for being able to exchange panels. Does the Flex model have glass doors like the Bespoke??

I been really enjoying the refrigerator. One tip if you buy the fridge, please prevent liquid from spilling on the bottome shelf over the drawers because you can not remove to clean in the crevices. I called them and they stated about it. I have had mine for a year. Try to get a protective cover for bottom shelf. It works for us but wish that shelf moved. The space is plentiful. Thanks for sharing.

We realized that we had the ice tray set-up incorrectly. We needed to lift it slightly. Now it stops making ice once full and doesn't fall out of the tray!

One thing I had to improve was the height of the shelves on the fridge doors. I had to do something to raise the height a bit for couple of milimeters in order to get enough space to put some bottles below. That is the only thing they should design better - to give us option to raise shelves ourselves the way we want. Luckyly i managed to do it myself without major changes
How'd you do it? If you dont mind telling me in depth when you get a chance ?
@@danzig4276 Just to clarify, I was talking about the door shelves. Not the main shelves made of glass. What I did is that I took out the shelve and inserted a bit of self-adhesive thin foam which raised the shelve for around 0.5-1 cm . For me that was good enough. Let me know if you need more instructions.

Could you please make an updated short video showing the ice catching containers in the correct position and how that impacts the slide out shelf below? Also, please say what the actual inner depth of the freezer compartments is. I want to know if a cookie sheet could fit inside. Thank you kindly.
We can do, and yes a cookie sheet will fit inside. We’ve put a whole roast pan in.
I got this fridge a few days ago. I immediately tried the infused water thingy, and it worked great. I have no idea how to program the bottom right or the crisper yet.
You should see a little screen on the inside right of the fridge. That's how you can adjust the crisper and other features.

i just bought and receieved this fridge today. when you first turned on the ice maker how long did it take before it started making cubes??
We can usually get two full trays overnight.
I have 2 Samsung refrigerators, a four door flex, same as yours, and a French Door counter depth on my Hatteras. The four door flex is trouble free. The boat fridge did have to be repaired.... most bad opinions result from repair people not knowing how to effect the repair! I was fortunate to get a knowledgeable repair person, cheap easy fix... additional heat defrost strip, and a heat sink extending into the drain area... no problems since... The Four Door Flex is awesome.

I really want this refrigerator but I’ve read so many horror stories. Many people say the temperature in the refrigerator gives way and spoils food so I’m scared to by it. There are even loads and loads of class actions suits and customers are winning so now I’m worried about making this purchase.

Can you recommend a good credit repair company 🤔
No need to pay someone to tell you to do something you can do on your own. We recommend paying off/down your debts to increase your credit. Many credit repair folks get legit claims taken off your report. What ends up happening is during the buying process your lender ends up finding those removed claims and you get denied for the house. Check out some of our first videos on the channel where we share how we paid off our debt which significantly increased our credit scores.
I love my fridge too specially the beverage center.. has yours turned off to update automatically? Today I opened it up and lightss are off. It says it's updating?? Has this happened ro yours? I don't k ow how long it's been like that
No that hasn’t happened to us. I know there is a Sabbath mode where the lights stay off. Check to make sure that isn’t mistakenly on. Happy you are enjoying the fridge!
How do you change the fridge portion on the bottom to freezer mode?
You can download the SmartThings app and connect your fridge to it. Then you can change it from the app. Or there is a little screen on the right side of the fridge, go through those settings and change it from there.
Quick question how do you adjust the middle shelf?
You just push it in :-)
PS, the ice maker does shut off, it just gets really full first

We just got one. The ice doesn't keep making ice?? Unless they changed that in the new models. Ice will stop once it hits a certain height in the pile.

I wish this model had no ice/ water for more food space. Ice trays are mininal and work fine.
You can remove the ice bins and use that shelf for storage.
My current samsung has lasted 13 years.

Hold on, is it documented that you have to manually turn off the ice maker or is it supposed to sense it and turn it off, but that feature doesn't work?
🤷🏾♂️ every ice maker we’ve ever owned has automatically turned off once full.
The ice maker automatically shuts off. In the video they have the ice shelf installed in the wrong position.
what's the difference in the Flex and Bespoke?
The Bespoke allows you to customize the colors of the four door panels, the flex doesn’t.
Did you purchase any additional warranty?
We have Best Buy total which covers all of our appliances, among other things, no matter the brand. Samsung does offer a warranty.
I wish she would've closed the door while placing that large pan inside. It looks like the pan extended over the shelf and would impact the beverage shelfs on the door.
It closes. No trickery over here.
I just got this fridge today and set it up. You all have the ice trays installed in the wrong position, which is why your automatic ice shutoff is not working.
They must have made an update to the fridge. There is no other way to place the trays. It’s designed to sit where they are sitting.
I can see in the video that you have the top lip of the ice drawer installed in the slot where the bottom of the ice drawer should go.
@@brian1078 right under that are the rollers that the shelf sits on. The ice trays aren’t wide enough for what you are referring to and if I moved the shelf up, there wouldn’t be space for the ice trays.
@@theirvs793 I see in your comments in another thread that you figured out how to install the ice drawer, that's good. Though your mistake made me realize that if someone wanted to make more ice, they could find a higher container that fits on that shelf when it's installed in the lower position.

@@theirvs793 Nice, I ended up getting a Samsung Stainless Steel Model after watching this review a few months ago. The only difference, I chose the one with a sliding drawer at the bottom instead of doors. When checking them out at the store, I found it easier to reach everything with the slide out drawer at the bottom. To remove fingerprints, I spray some window cleaner and wipe it down with old newspaper for a streak free shine.
