I love your contrasting ballast areas to show recent permanent way workings.

Just seen this layout on Hornby A Model World. Looking forward to seeing it on tour. I vividly remember Red Bank as a kid sat on platform at Manchester Victoria.

Back in the mid sixties I watched this (Mail) train from Woodhouse Lane Brighouse, back then it was the Hull to Holyhead and Double headed by 2-8-0s or 2-10-0s. something you wouldn’t see now.

When you say "big disassembly" is this permanent or off to a new location. Hope it's not the former!

Great video, some weight in that lot. One observation especially applies to the Heljan GUV's (have a couple) The coupling springs and pretty weak! (How dare I criticise Heljan Ha ha I'll be shot at dawn)
Why not beef the first coach up with a meaty spring and shorten the drawbar then fit Kadees to the rest if its running as a set? I noticed you have removed the Kadees from the Darstead BG's which come fitted with those as your gangways arent touching. I have my Darstaeds in a set with Kadees in the middle of the rake of 4 then screw links (FOC from ECT) at the ends. I've also shortened the outer doors as they stick out way too far. Its just a thought and if you are running the 'red bank' set as a full train as in the video on a regular basis it'd solve the problem, it's a problem most of us aren't ever going to encounter with our train lengths, keep up the good work.
    Regards. Ross.
