What really impresses me is the lack of corny little cameos and realistic running speeds. It looks like a real lonely railway station as I’m sure it would have been. As for the track, if it wasn’t for the shots of the building housing this masterpiece it would look so real. Brilliant doesn’t describe it. Thanks for showing us how good model railways can be.
Wow, this is where i grew up. We lived in the little wooden bungalow on the Witham Rd and when I was ten we moved into the Station Masters house until I was twenty three when I got married and moved into Stamford. Awesome layout, brings back a lot of wonderful memories !!!
The fact that the gauge is 00 doesn't detract from the realism of this layout at all in my opinion. And the absence of tinny sound from the locos is a plus. When the modelled scene is this good one's imagination can add all the sounds and smells to a huge extent. This is the ECML as I remember it from my childhood.
smooth running scale lenght trains.....very nice....great layout...big...but not too large.....ilike it.....and it's the right region too....:-) i also like it, that there is no "sound" involved.....a bit of quiet running is much appreciated.....thats why i stick with good old "analogue".....
Steam era with nice clean ballasted track !!!!!! Funny I remember all track went a nasty brown colour rapidly on a mainline. Thanks to clouds of rusty brake block dust, and toilets that dropped everything directly on the track, never mind the mess steam locos added !!!!!!
Really Beautiful Layout. I hope Tony is doing well I have talked to him a few times on the various circuits, but like most that has been limited in the past few years
If I can get my railroad looking as half realistic as this I will be happy. Prefer the next generation...(10 years later), but still very impressive. Given me an idea for a backdrop.
Lovely layout very realistic except there is no weeds between the tracks it would add a bit more realism, just a thought as my eye was drawn to it absence
You modeled flat spots on your rolling stock? How OCD is that? It's just too bad that all this modeling talent went into a British railroad. British railroading, much like British food, is so bland and boring....oh well...
It's always a pleasure to see new video on this channel...
One of the best layouts ever built. Tony's attention to detail both in his rolling stock, his buildings and scenery is second to none.
I was just watching the video and thinking the same thing!!

Great to have some rolling landscape. As you say those bunnies jumping out of their burrows stuff is passé.
I just loved seeing all those mixed freight trains that you never see now on the railways
The more I get into this hobby the more Tony Wright becomes my hero.
Same, his wealth of skill and expertise is incredible.
A good use of space and distance. Great running session too. Just what I love doing too. Regards Alan in the loft :o)

I love the deltic prototype train ,one of the coaches sounds like it has a flat very realistic ,superb 👍🏻😊
Every ti me I see this layout my mouth waters with envy, this is may favourite layout based on a real location, excellent!
Fascinating, beautiful work. So realistic.
Really impressive, love the understated back scenes.
Wow work of art.
best thing I can is that this layout is right up there with Bournemouth West...
Wonderful. A joy to watch.
Stunning layout Tony gives us all something to aspire to 👍 love the guy taking photographs
Great running session, lots of expresses but no stopping service? Love the long shots. Thanks for sharing.
Looking at a copy of the summer 1957 ER Timetable book, stopping services at Little Bytham were already infrequent at this time.
thats a very nice lay out, lots of work put into it.

Just exquisite. I like all of it, but I love the trackwork.

It's always a pleasure to see new video of Little Bytham as it is one of my favourite mainline layouts.
Most enjoyable video Tony keep them coming.
Excelente trabajo de ingeniería ferroviaria
The first time I saw a video of Little Bytham Railway layout, I would have sworn it was in 0 scale!
I’m a diesel man myself but this is a fabulous layout - just wonderful!
Really Beautiful Layout. I hope Tony is doing well I have talked to him a few times on the various circuits, but like most that has been limited in the past few years
Is there a track diagram/layout plan anywhere?
Simply Wonderful !!
Wonderful video
Great watching, the 8F seems to have different wheels?
Very nice Tony, when are we going to get to see your Duchess?

9:55 I love the 0-6-0 tender engine what is it and how can I get one myself?
Looks like a scratch-built J6.
Is that Tony himself, camera in hand on the end of the platform at 13:30 min?
Need some advice. I'm building a HO model train layout. How do I prevent the trains my trains from jumping the tracks. Thanks.
