Because you play wizard this gem will be useless to you. But if you play crusader or barb then this gem will be a big boost when you clash on bg.
Still depends on their overall base damage, if not too high than it will be only good for 2-3 hits
Love my barb's Frozen Heart. It slows melee/ranged and proc's a shield a lot= more life thank you! The Bottled hope is a fantastic gem but to hop over one stars to burn that?===OOF, painfull.

I play Crusader and my Frozen Heart triggers all the time.
Its a good gem for whales, can be any class
Which skill triggers your bottle of hope gem?
If you use nova and with the essence from offhand for a movement speed boost. It should trigger hopes. So far that’s the only skill I know of.
how do you calculate base damage?
can use a calculator yourself or just google. For example 220% of 8100. 220% is rank shield and 8100 is base damage, and it should be 17820

Lol why use echoing shade? Instead of frozen heart? Frozen heart gives you barrier and chill. How come its not good for PVP?
My echoing shade is 5/5 so stuck with it

My Frozen Hearts at Rank 5 4 stars and it’s pretty op in BG with the chill when you attack

He’s a PvE’r so he doesn’t need the frozen heart. He goes for max damage . When he does PvP he stays at max range with lasers and crystal.
My build is tailored for PvP and I use Frozen Heart and like it a lot. I don’t care about PvE cuz it’s easy AF lol
I agree, you have to be melee to use Frozen Heart at its maximum
I do pvp and its till not all that great because gives me only 6500 shield in pvp and it goes away fast. Bottled Hope, actually increase damage and movement speed, which is more useful for me as range class.

A politician would say....its not technically a lie....the 5* gems have a 1-5 system within them, but they are all still "5* Gems" - but youre correct it would have been clearer to say "trashing a 3/5 Frozen Heart" but it wouldnt look as good in the thumbnail
