This has been a RAMBLR COLLECTIVE production. - Авто та транспорт
For perspective sake, this has been one of the best videos I have seen of this pass in a couple years. thanks for going the extra mile with good wide shots to show how this pass actually looks. Safe Travels Rally Rats.
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed!
A perfect snowy day to release this gem. ☕️ Cheers gentleman.
Man, love the cinematography - the different shots and the color grading are all really well done! And the story telling style - mostly driving footage with interlaced conversations/discussions - flows really well. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Thanks a ton! This is something that we strive for and hope to get better every season. Episode 5 will be out in another couple weeks, thanks for tuning in!
A perfect snowy day to release this gem
Your vid came up in my feed while doing LC200 mod look up. Cinematography, storytelling, editing, soundtrack, impressive all around!
Thanks! We'll be rockin' an LX in this years trip down to baja. Such great vehicles.
Your videos have it all, cool rigs, amazing videography, mesmerizing landscapes. You all deserve million of subscribers and views. Cant wait for that milestone to happen, great work guys!
We really appreciate that! Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
Glad you showed the steps... so many videos don't. Great production as well!
Thanks for watching!
My Monday just got better. Thanks guys!
No, thank you for watching!
Sketchy, yet beautiful landscape. Great filming too!
Haha definitely one for the books! Great memories though.
Such a good video! Incredible footage & great storytelling
Thanks a lot! Stoked you enjoyed it!
Tell the guy with the mystery noise that his driveshaft is dragging on the gas tank skid when his ass end is off camber and lateral pressure is shifting the rear end.
Peep the wear marks on the driveshaft at the end of the video when he crawls under to take a look
Shot happens as a engineer at Nuke plant Murphy’s law.
I love listening to people tell me how much they like my GX and how capable it is.
Great video guys
Bigmanoncampin
Such a great platform! Love the GX!
Great Vid. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Thanks for watching!
Nice video! I've been just about everywhere in the San Juan Mountains except Black Bear and Poughkeepsie. I always rent a rig and these two locations are prohibited for rentals. I love the handling of the two-door Willys. When you come back - which you surely will. You have to try Engineer and Clear Lake. Nothing intense, just amazing views. Happy trails!!
awesome vid!!
Thanks for watching!
I'm truly envious of your video editing skills! I finally made it out there for the first time this past October, but only had time for Engineer Pass. I'm planning to make a return trip to hit Imogene and Black Bear. It should be "interesting" given that I hate heights! 🤣🤣🤣
Imogene was awesome! You definitely need to run that one.
It's gonna happen! Y'all are based in TN? I'm in VA. If you guys ever want to link up in the Appalachians let me know!
Welldone guys, mission accomplished! Joseph (South Africa)
Thanks!
damn straight!!
Red cove mountain in Colorado wil. Also scary because it's steep going down hill you have to crawl or nothing will stop you until you hit the bottom 😮
We'll have to check that out
You guys have some serious cahones…my wife and I just watched this and she made me agree to never go on black bear pass 😂😂😂 I doubt my big ole tundra would fair well on the steps so I will heed her counsel. Planning a trip up Poughkeepsie Gulch, camping at lake como, then I might go up Yankee boy basin and Imogene backwards. Can’t wait to see your Moab video next, the preview looked insane!! Hope no rigs were harmed. I live in Burns TN..I just found out about Mill Creek Overland recently. I’ll have to contact them for an install when I decide on a rear bumper setup.
Be surprised if they open black bear pass anytime soon
Ha ha, Black Bear is definitely a pucker factor the entire way down but we're happy we did it. The trip you're planning sounds like a good one, love that area of Colorado. Yankee boy in episode 3 was incredible, make sure to make that one happen. If you ever want to come by the shop and talk just come on by!
Right!?
@@rallyrats thank you! I’d love to stop by!
Yota FTW!!
Correction Impala came with 327 ,427 was ford Galaxy . 🤪🇺🇸🇨🇦
Great video. What are you all using for comm's ?
Thanks! We’re just using GMRS radios. Midland MXT400s to be exact
Hey, I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I watched all 3 yesterday and I'm on this 4th one now on my TV. WOW.....the challenges you guys have had and you are still in good spirits. Great Videos and very well done...Question: did your WeBoost work at all on this trip up high and what type of radios are you all using?
Thanks! We appreciate you watching and your support. To be honest, probably didn't use the weboost too much. We've had issues with earlier models but hopefully the units they have now in days are a lot better. With spotty service, didn't really see a boost and if there was no service, well there is no service to boost. We can't really speak for the new models though. I know a lot of people like their weboosts but we'll probably end up with Star Link. We're all running Midland radios, mostly the mxt400 unit. They have been great!
You bet! I'll be following you all and I found you on Instagram a few hours ago too. Okay thanks on all of the info. A Radio is soon for me.
Intense stuff! Any of the vehicles have disconnecting sway bars? Would you recommend them?
They do not, but yes disconnecting sway bars will help with off-road performance. The new 2024 Tacoma now features this but other vehicles have been doing this for awhile.
So, is overloading like pretty much driving? With sheit attached to your car? Thanks for the downlow!
Ha ha, basically sums it up. The more crap you have hanging off your vehicle the more overlander you are, duh. Overlanding 101.
You guys should go thru AZ
While it’s still nice
Definitely would love to at some point!
When did you film this?
Awhile ago
I would like to start running some trails. its been 15 years but i am on jeep #9, just got a 14 wrangler 4in lift and 35s with winch. any info would help
Just gotta get out and go! Doesn't matter the vehicle!
How did you run Black Bear Pass when it was officially closed all season?
This footage was from many moons ago.
Ah, I didn't get that from the video or the description. Maybe I missed that, but it makes sense. Thanks. @@rallyrats
Of course they all driving TOYOTA 😎
We love our Toyotas!
Longest intro ever lol
lol, right? Like soooo long bro. Like they should totally get an Xterra and a suburban and be super poor and make shorter intros. Right brah! Totally!
Glad you enjoyed it ;)
P r o m o s m
Yota Stans are the fuckin worst
Thanks!
