The 2 reasons why for me it's a no go : 1. Too much air pollution, from fossil fuels but also sand. I heard so many testimonies of people who got sick while arriving in Dubai. Apparently almost everyone has health problems, and even while living far from city center. There is too much sand, which makes it hard. And how are they gonna do if one day Asia develops and they don't have all this cheap handforce in order to clean sand ? 2. Abuse of human rights. Some would argue it's in every country. But there it seems to go to an extreme level.
@@elliotoliver8679 Honnestly despite it requires work to deal with, I don't believe sand is the biggest drawback, but rather the fact that due to desert climate and absence of wind, the pollution from cars stagnate more in the air than if you live by the ocean. Not a big fun of Dubai. 1. Weather is terrible esp in summer -you can barely have any outdoor activities 2. It has no natural beauty and everything is man made. You are doing the smart move before you get injured. Anyone or country employ people without a sense or love spiritually to others and not following the rule of employment policy you should not waste
So according to you, we should not pursue jobs in Dubai if they are offering better opportunities? Where is the perfect country since you are speaking in absolutes?
The United Arab Emirstes IS NOT the whole of the Middle East. It is only one country in that area.. So just to clarify, are you only talking about UAE or all the other countries e. g Saudi Arabia, Bahrain Yemen, Israel, etc??
I disagree, overall, with this video. She does make mention or some good point however. As someone born and raised here in America, America and a lot of other western countries are so many downfalls, even a few that dubai "supposedly" have. There is discrimination in these western countries as well here, I argue more so. America and other western countries are on a downward trend, economically, morally, etc. Plus dubai, isn't the only emirate. Most people love abu dhabi for example. It is the most expensive, but there is more opportunities there for work than dubai. A lot of the bigger companies will even pay for accommodation and perhaps other things in their packages based on their offer as well. Western countries is very taxing as well and it is becoming more of an issue to raise your children here (especially if you want to instill good moral values). I can go on and on. America is way more expensive I would argue. Groceries, gas, etc. for example. No matter where you live, you have to live within your means. Of course it is going to seem to be expensive if you live outside that. There are a lot of western people increasing leaving their western countries (US, UK, etc.) to work and reside in the UAE. I perfer Abu Dhabi over dubai personally. It is more chill and the environment is more suitable for me personally. Like I said you don't have to live in dubai. There is abu dhabi, fujairah (significantly more affordable), sharjah (more affordable), ajman (more affordable), Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain (more affordable) Side note: Al Ain isn't an emirate, it is a part of Abu dhabi.
so would you recommend moving if the company pays for the house and utilities and making enough to do well. or are you saying dont move there because of the modern day slavery that exists?
Dubai is a lovely place. Each city 🌆 or country has its good and bad . No one city is 💯 good . Depends on someone's destiny if God purposed to bless you in Dubai then going to UK or US is useless. Ive personally thrived here and know many Africans who have bought properties here and setting up a business here. If you hate and talk bad about a place how do you expect to thrive while there ???? Do it, you are a Canadian so you will be treated as an axpatraite.
Thank you for sharing
God Bless you for sharing your experiences and trying to spare others of these injustices disguised as "the promised land." 🙏❤⚘️⚘️⚘️
So according to you, we should not pursue jobs in Dubai if they are offering better opportunities? Where is the perfect country since you are speaking in absolutes?
Yesssssss run away ooo
No perfect Country, she is disappointed because it was not what she was expecting. It's better than the US for sure
I guess it depends on your trade, profession or ordinary labourer.
Run Forest run!
The United Arab Emirstes IS NOT the whole of the Middle East. It is only one country in that area.. So just to clarify, are you only talking about UAE or all the other countries e. g Saudi Arabia, Bahrain Yemen, Israel, etc??
WON'T go to ANY OF THEM. SO MUCH UNREST IN THE WORLD,I THINK IT'S BEST TO STAY IN YOUR OWN BACKYARD
She hasn't lived in all those places that you listed.
When they say Nigerian is the mark they left where they go I have one live in my house for one year and don’t pay any rent
How can you say one cannot buy a house in Dubai? Wtong info! If you have the money you can buy a house!!!
imagine buying a house in a country you don't have it's citizenship and you could go back home at any moment!
Id love to visit...then decide. Im not SURE about living there 🙌
Maybe better if you make a few good friends
There is abu dhabi, fujairah (significantly more affordable), sharjah (more affordable), ajman (more affordable), Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain (more affordable)
Side note: Al Ain isn't an emirate, it is a part of Abu dhabi.
I subscribe because all you said is a sad truth im currently in Dubai
I never felt the zeal to going to that country. Am happy here.
Ma u are very correct, have waist alot of money on transit, to the west pls can u direct me on how to move out to Europ
so would you recommend moving if the company pays for the house and utilities and making enough to do well. or are you saying dont move there because of the modern day slavery that exists?
Agreed
Very true, ill never live in place like that
Please to relocate as a dependent from UAE to Uk can i use Nigeria bank proof of funds?
Well said
Everyone’s experience is different…
Hi, to better refer to UAE or Dubai is by referring to Arabian Gulf and not Middle East
7:51 Those pictures look normal to me.
Fyi just my opinion 😅
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - John 8:32
You seem like an African or a Caribbean to me --- are you? So, do you personally feel like Dubai is your country and are you going to refer to yourself as being an Arab whatever your nationality is??
BS
@@rheddhawkmariea5875you can be "a Caribbean"
❤Truth God Over Every Struggles. If gods will for you to move to that place Youre gonna prosper there.
Thank you
Hmmm I wonder what was ur job? That sounded like you work in one of the worse companies ever.. I'm sorry for the experience and I'm sure your life will always get better ❤❤
Mama what do you say about this aggressive campaign on social media for people to start business in Dubai and open account in Dubai of late
Wow I’m glad I saw this I won’t be going racist need to stop
