- Helped my friend replace his VVT solenoid. Dirty oil or the wrong type of oil could be the cause of the code P000B Code. This process was super easy anyone could do it on a budget! Like, comment, share and subscribe and dont spend money in a shop!!!

Thanks just fixed my car today and it was super easy
Thanks, I have been looking for the reason my Challenger would fall on its face when I raced it. Just found out to check the VVT system. Once again thanks soo much.
Michael Brown you’re welcome =) it’s super easy
Thanks didn't even know what the part was called
Keep it up skittles that’s mint that your fixing cars. 100 💯
Beastin Owt hey thanks. This one I was just helping a friend out =)
mint
Thank you so much so we don’t need to change the timing chain
Good vid. Hope youre still makkng vids. Wish you and your family the best.
Awww thank you not so much sense I’ve gotten pregnant I’m gonna be honest 😬😅
Worth noting in 2015 they revised the part to be metal instead of the plastic so if your vehicle is older than that it's worth doing no matter what before it's an issue
Awesome thanks for the comment! =)
SSkittles, now you need to do a video on changing 5.7 HEMI MDS solenoids!
I wish this isn't my car it was a friend's
Life saver, thanks 🌹
You’re welcome hope it helps !
So when this sensor is bad what are the symptoms?
Had this code in my ram 1500, did the cam shaft and lifters 20k miles ago, so I doubt it is a cam problem, do you think it might solve my problem?
Bruh I gotta roast you for the voice like everyone else, but god damn if this isn’t the only video that actually showed me what I needed….
Good video.
Thanks I really appreciate it =)
When you left the manifold up, is there a gasket that you have to replace?
Nice😎
Where is this VVT temperature sensor, or is it part of the VVT Solenoid ?
I replaced the same part but it's still throwing a p000b code. When I press on gas motor feels like loses power or goes into limp mode any ideas.
Did you ever get that fixed? Have the same problem?
@@chacefrost2422 no the problem is still there havnt been driving it much.. sucks
@@chacefrost2422it’s going to be the timing chain 9/10
So if I change it out will it clear my check engine light
That's girl !! I was afraid to change mine. The machanic qouted me 300 dollars. I just got code p000b on my car. I have a 2012 dodge charger r/t.
Johanna Cortez I just did it “a la” SmokinSkittles” method. It was fast and easy. It wasn’t 15 minutes, but to be fair I really took my time double checking everything.
I also took the opportunity to clean out the crud in the intake manifold (the lower metal one, not the upper plastic one) with carb cleaner.
While your at it; make sure your oil is FULL. Otherwise the code won’t clear (ask me how I know).
John Smith my Ram truck is giving me this error code and I already changed the oil, it reset for one day then the next it came back on. Will this be my problem?
Hello can you please tell me what code was in your car with that part bad ??? Because I have 2 code on my 2013 Dodge Charger hemi p3400 & p3449 do you know what parts I have to replace for that code 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you
What was the car doing that made u have to do this ?
Hi I have a 2015 ram 1500 and it’s showing code p3449 is this the same solenoid I have to change? It tells me deactivation solenoid cylinder 7
Any suggestions if I am having trouble taking them off? I tried to pull them out but seems like there stuck
New intake gaskets por favor. Ya que estas alli.
Did you try giving it a fresh oil change first? I got code 1417 gotta bad mis
U. Did it!
I have code p0013, is this related to the vvt solenoid?
What’s the torquing order?
Also thanks for the video
Did you get lower oil pressure from this issue?
so this actually was a friends car he asked me to replace it for him because he went to the dealer and they quoted him $300!!! :O
P3401 code they told me to change out my oil control valve camshaft sensor and change out my vvt solenoid and a oil change and it will help my problem
thanks very helpful
hisham elgazzar you’re welcome I’m happy I could help.
Gracias Smokin
What is the part number for the solenoid and where did you get it?
Part #VVA 1032 i got mine from advanced auto around $40
Thank you, i had a hell of a time at autozone and want to make sure it was the right one
Tengo una ram 03. Se ve diferente el motor. Mismo 5.7 hemi.
You skipped the part on how to take the connector off!
Had no idea hemi engines had a vvt solenoid
PUPIE D oh yeah super important. Two plugs per cylinder two valves also 😬 they need to be timed at the perfect time to be efficient.
SmokinSkittles thanks I’ll remember that one of my friends loves his hemi’s
PUPIE D same here!!! They are such good engines it’s insane!!!
SmokinSkittles I’d like to own an old school cuda
Is there a difference between bank 1 and bank 2?
Yes. Bank 1 is the side of the engine with cylinder #1 in it.
@@brucekalapach5622 wait can you explain that a little more clearly. Now you said Bank 1 is where?
@@nikebluegoodwoodthe left side of the engine when facing it is the even numbered cylinders. 2,4,6,8
Right side is odd 1,3,5,7. So if bank 1 is where cylinder 1 is at that means it’s the right side of the engine. I’m assuming
Which location is cylinder number 1? I got code P3401 for my 13’ Charger R/T
I have that same code like wtf lol
Holaa bombomcito ...saludos 👋
Smokin skittles, I did it I replaced the part just the way you showed, afterwards the car ran fine, the code even went off and it drove without a check engine light for a while. But all of a sudden the code came back(check engine light). It says it’s P000B. But the car still drives fine it doesn’t drive like a did before it drives perfectly fine. What do you think? Please help
John Smith honestly there are 2!!!
I’m wondering if you have to replace the other one 😬
John Smith and are you sure you plugged it in ?!
Yup, I plugged it in. 100% sure. I can visually verify it’s plugged in just by looking at it from the side/under of the intake manifold. I can see the wire plugged in.
There are TWO of those “oil control solenoids”?!??!?
deep quine wowwwwww
Your cute
Jose Estrada thanks!!!😝
2:01 : video starts
You literally say literally way too much
I literally do 🤣🙊 seriously it’s honestly a problem 🤣🤣🤣🤣 those are my 3 favorites
While you had intake off.... delete the MDS ....
