Owning both of them, i can guarantee everyone reading this comment, that this comparison is BY FAR the most accurate i I've watched on UA-cam! On point(!) when saying that the Logitech G Pro X has a more "studio-like sound" ( which I absolutely love)! Absolutely true(!) when saying that the Razer's bass sounds more "distorted" and "dirty"... When i used them for the first time I really thought there was something wrong with this headset and i had a really hard time trying to fix the sound using the Synapse software. To conclude, i agree 100% with the opinions from this review and if i had to choose 1000 times buying a new headset i would end with 999 G Pro X headsets, and only 1 Blackshark V2/V2 Pro just for my collection 😅... Thumbs up for the vid my man!
G pro x in bass music better then black shark v2 or v2 pro? Like middle of the night remix in bass witch one better i playing valorant diamond and so many time lessening music bass
Thanks for the video, this is what I need. I personally bought Logitech PRO X headphones for $ 190, used them for two days and I'm wildly pleased with them, but I saw an article in the reviews that Razer BlackShark V2 sound a little better than Logitech PRO X and Razer BlackShark V2 cost $ 98, which forced me to order Razer BlackShark V2 for a personal test and decide on by choice. I want to personally understand by ear and decide on the final choice of Logitech PRO X or Razer BlackShark V2. You say in the video that Logitech PRO X is better than Razer BlackShark V2, and in Russia review publishers and many bloggers say that Razer BlackShark V2 is better than Logitech PRO X. I am interested in comparing both headphones in games, namely using surround sound. I read that THX profiles are not in all games, but DTS in most games, which means Logitech PRO X is more omnivorous in games than Razer BlackShark V2. Logitech PRO X headphones are best used with a G-HUB sound card, without it the sound is not so rich and I personally don't really like it, especially in games with 7.1 channels on the motherboard, the sound is very poor, and with G-HUB, the sound in games is rich, lively and rich. Do you have experience owning these headphones, tell me, is the Logitech PRO X sound better than the Razer BlackShark V2 or worse? I am interested in any sound, in music, in games, surround sound. The sound settings are not so critical, the sound is more important to me, not the program settings
I personally like the detail and crisp audio that you get with the g pro x however the Blackshark are a bit more comfortable and the the soundstage is wider and thx doesn't seem to make a difference in some games and I'm not wildly into using the surround sound on these headphones but I feel that the g pro x with the felt cushions is the most comfortable and better sounding headset the blacksharks have too much bass and it muddies up other sounds and especially with shooters or competitive shooters the Blackshark don't give you in edge in the fight
@@IAmVehement Is THX Spatial Audio activated for free or do you still need to buy for $20? For example, Logitech G Pro X already has activated DTS Headset: X v2.0 technology (it also costs $ 20 if you take other headphones, not Logitech) and DTS Headset: X v2.0 works via an external sound card, which is included in the Logitech G Pro X kit
I have the G Pro X and i love it. My only complain is that the base earcups are too thin, so because of that my ears are touching the drivers (it hurts after a couple minutes) so i need to replace them (so extra spending)
One thing that annoyed me to no end is that the left side was quieter that the right side on the Razer. I tried to fix it on software but it didn't work I had to return it. This also happened when I got the Razer Kraken X Lite. Have you ever had this problem using a Razer headset ?
So I should of mentioned in my video that if I turn the volume dial on the razer all the way to the end once it hits the very end the right side gets a lot quieter then the left so I have to keep it right before the end if I turn them all the way up
@@IAmVehement Oh thanks . One more thing since you reviewed both the Logitech G PRO (old gen) and the G PRO X what the the differences between the 2 besides blue voice.
The razers are quite a bit more comfortable but I don't think the Blackshark sound better then the g pro x the g pro x are also extremely customizable to your liking if you want more high end or more oomf in the bass or wanna get that v shaped sound you can customize the blacksharks too but using synapse is a nightmare
They compare really well I find they sound better then the blacksharks not as crisp as the g pro x but a bit more bassy but in a clean way and have a wider soundstage I think if you could find the hyper x cheaper and don't mind having no software there a great buy
Hey man! how would the Blackshark V2 Pro compare here? Do you think the logitech g pro x is still better? And im also thinking about getting the HyperX Cloud Alpha. Are they good? and better than the blackshark v2 pro or logitech g pro x? Edit: im talking about the 2020 version of the Blackshark v2 Pro btw, the 2023 is out of my price range
If your mostly concerned with competitive then your best bet is the g pro x. If you care about music the blacksharks so sound better due to better bass response and crispy highs but it's a bit muddy in the mids. I really do still recommend the g pro x for your situation.
i come from corsair virtuoso XT. was nice sound and awsome michropohone but the round earcups and the weight 390gr was enoght to resell them(lost some money but cant play and use them) now i am try the Logitech PRO X to see if my head can handle the 320 wich in reality is 330gr. I on trial the microphone is worst for sure the weight is there i need longer sesion to see if i keep them or send it back. The sound is ok not as good as corsair XT but is more confortable. if in 1 week i am not happy with them i go for razer. And that is why i am here.
The Razer are sooo comfortable idk if I'd say the most comfortable headset I own I constantly change my mind however they are top 3 most comfortable headsets ive used so if that matters to you most then you'd be happier with Razer then the Logitech
Thanks for the clear explanation bro. I have to ditch my Foam earpad worn out logitech g pro x headset which I use it for movies and music with Creative G6.. MUSIC and MOvies.. I think your asking if the g pro x will sound good thru 3.5 for movie and games and yes they will you will just lose a lot of that back end customization but they will still sound excellent
@@IAmVehement Well i am already using it with Creative product G6 but in the future will practice the same with V2 Razer after disposing G pro X. The question is Can i do the same with Razer V2 headphones by connecting to my DAC via 3.5mm male connector to my CREATIVE AE-9/G6 DAC Sound cards?

i play rainbow six siege so i need accurate footsteps sound and where i live blackshark is like half the price of g pro x so for footsteps which one is better?
The g pro x has better footstep detection do to a more prominent upper midrange. Blacksharks don't hear footsteps all too well I struggle to recommend it for competitive games.
Maybe if you boost the upper midrange and lower treble but I don't think it can get as well represented due to blacksharks really struggling with footsteps.
Sound quality is very different I didn't really like the sound of the regular g pro and you don't get some of the extra features on the g hub software and you don't get 2 pairs of ear pads
