But for competitive fps like R6 siege or COD, you recommend which one between Mawwell, Astro A40, the Cloud 3 or HD6 pro. Knowing that I don't mind adding profiles or playing with the sound profile. @summitactical I believe these would be great for you then man, more often than not a quality music/mixing headphone is better for fps games if you want competitive edge. The imaging and sound stage is the best i've heard in any headphone. I can literally pin point exactly where people are on valorant and warzone man its simply amazing. If your looking for a good mix between music and fps bro I 100% urge you to try these. Coming from someone who has logi pro x2 and audeze maxwell they blow em out the water!
Sound is great but microphone quality is super bad, there like impossible to get it to work decently on discord and other apps even with disabling stuff like noise cancelling

After a couple weeks you can get used to using the Maxwell for 6-8 hours daily, but it will definitely take time getting used to the weight. But the audio quality is the best overall, so I think you made the right choice.

I want neutral clear sound and immersive game experience. unfortunately there are no audeze maxwells where I live. So do you think g pro x2 will fulfill my expectations?
Yeah, the Pro X 2 will be great. It's one of the most balanced headsets out there, and the detail is very good without having highs too harsh. Not sure if PS5 has a built-in equalizer (I have Series S), but these are very receptive to EQ also. I've been playing a lot of Starfield with these - fun af.
Hey, question BadIntent: I just bought these and I have used the Logitech G933 artemis since 2017. Upon starting to use them, they feel and sound so muffled even after downloading some equilizer settings and fidgeting with it. Do you have any idea why? They sound so muffled by comparison to my old headset.

Does the Pro X 2 audio also crush the Cloud III in the area of competitive FPS if in-game situational awareness (and not immersion) is your primary concern?
Doesn't crush it, but it's better. I think the sound separation is significantly better on the Pro X 2, but the soundstage on both is similar. The Cloud III will sound more open out the box, but you can EQ the Pro X 2 to match it while still having better detail.
I have the G pro X wired, and I heard that the G Pro x wireless microphone is bad. Now I like to buy the G Pro X wireless for work and music, however I want to replicate the microphone quality for the wired ones when gaming. Can this AUX cable be plugged in USB External sound card (that I have left from my G pro wired one) and plug it into my PC and do you know if it increases the microphone sound quality? I would appreciate your feedback on this.
i dont understand how anyone can put this up against the maxwell and think the maxwell is hands down better. its almost 100$ more and needs a ton of eq to be anything near gaming quality. its a music headset that can be used for gaming with a lot of work. The logitech is a gaming headset that can be used for other stuff, they arent the same and 99% of people buying gaming headsets arent trying to do a ton of eq work to get something set up, they just want to plug and play and maybe select presets
I also prefer the out the box sound of the Pro X 2 much better. The reason I focus on EQ potential so much is for a couple reasons: 1. If someone spends $250+ on a headset, it makes sense to spend 2-5 minutes creating a few custom EQ presets. 2. Everyone has different preferences for highs, mids, lows, and soundstage. So it wouldn't be right for me to say the Pro X 2 is better for gaming because it matches my preferences more out the box. I think a driver having more flexibility is more important than than the default sound. But I understand your perspective since many people won't tweak the sound at all.
Price says nothing. 😄 I had Sennheiser HD660S2 headphones but after testing IE200 earbuds I find them hell alot more precise and clear, much better for gaming.
So there is no point in getting these for consoles if the settings only saves to the pc. If Steelseries can make Sonar work for consoles like they recently did then logitech can do the same.
So there's a dealbreaker with this headset that only one reviewer has talked about. This brand new $250 PC gaming headset doesn't work with Windows spatial audio (Sonic/Atmos/DTS:X). It's because of the Logitech driver. You can use the Logitech G Hub version of DTS:X but it's REALLY bad and the software has to be installed and running. No other PC gaming headset has this problem. It's ridiculous. Logitech needs to fix it. There's a workaround by installing the basic Microsoft audio driver onto your system but then you can't use G Hub. Also the Equalizer for this headset in G Hub is really bad. 5 EQ Sliders, no parametric EQ, no "Link EQ Sliders" button. Also no USB wired audio sucks.

Well, I mean despite its shortcomings and that e.g. Audeze Maxwell is better in everything sound-wise, there's an alarming amount of customers who had problems with its quality. Yeah that's pretty much the best way to put it. Not the best at any one thing but very good at everything (except the mic). I actually use this more than everything else I have right now because it ticks all the boxes.

Maxwell if you want the best of the best in terms of sound for FPS. The detail is just the best right now.

Yeah the sidetone has a lot of volume and it's pretty clear.

The mic is always terrible. The only headsets with somewhat decent mics currently that I've used are the HyperX Cloud III and Corsair HS80.

They're both great for that, but the Nova Pro is actually slightly better for that imo.
If i use the 3.5 mm jack will the eq settings still work because i know some headsets do and others dont when using 3.5
