Nice video. I just got a new JLUR XR with the factory installed CAI. Factory does not install the hood vent. But I want to change the reusable filter to the stock "paper" disposable one as the stock air filter may be more suitable for dusty environment. Do I just need to remove the 4 screws from the box or do I need to loosen the clamp on the intake tube too?
@@shmohsin-lasvegas most probably. Also, addition to this, my guess is that a-pillar bracket that’s included in snorkel kit is “82215427 which is not compatible with Mojave. However, according to mopar web site this part has been replaced by “82215427ab” which fits to Mojave now. Mopar is too lazy!
Its the height of the Mojave hood. The hood sits taller so the cut out wont allow the template to install properly. Now ive heard of guys installing AEV units…. Im sure it can be managed
I can't wait to drive my new jeep home. Thanks for all the work you've been doing on it for me Rob.
for the 2023 model year you can get a snorkel installed from the factory
Thanks for comparing the cold air intake to the stock intake, definitely sold me on it
What is the procedure to clean the air filter? Do you have info on that? Thanks in advance!

Is the cut out for the snorkel the same as the CAI?
Is the hole same shape as the cold air intake? thanks!
The Mopar snorel doesn't fit around the stock antenna?
My new Jeep is looking great!
Hmm, looks like the next upgrade is do something with that radio mast. :)
This jeep is sick. Great job Rob!
I don't want it. I need it!!!
With the Sarge Green it has a really tough look to it.
Well I feel like the hood was hacked doesn’t keep have a removable piece for the snorkel instead of hacking the hood ? Just saying
That thing is really taking form!
More to come!
Looks great man. Good job on the snorkel!
Loving this upgrade series
That gap in the hood for the snorkel looks strangely unfinished. What's up with that?
Why do the snorkel and cold air intake not fit to the Gladiator Mojave?
My guess is that the Mohave's hood is a steel one and maybe harder to cut whereas the other trims have aluminum hoods.

Dang, the snorkel is $1,300 and the cold 🥶 air kit is another $800? Wow. That's crazy expensive.
Good stuff Quadratec!
Nice
Great job Rob
So who won ?
Quadratec
Great video, thank you.
is it me or was the too big for the snorkle?
Rob had the hood popped open during the video, when the hood is closed fully, it seals around the snorkel tube perfectly.
