  • This is how we find meteorites in the forests of Northern Sweden using a metal detector. We are meteorite hunting the Muonionalusta strewn field in the forests of Lapland. The muonionalusta meteorite is an iron-nickel meteorite that came down roughly a million years ago. It disintegrated in the sky and rained down over a wide 15x25 km strewn field area. We are looking for meteorites using a wide range of metal detectors and digging deep holes in the forest looking for valuable meteorite space rock. The meteorite we are searching is in Sweden very close to the border to Finland, near the village of kitkiöjärvi. Gold mask deep detector, minelab and garrett detectors are used for hunting meteorites.

    Hi, guys. Few tips.
First, the equipment is rather poor for this area. It is searched with much more powerful detectors. At least headphones may help a little.
Second, try to understand the signal to avoid keeping digging surface trash. Use the air test for massive iron object (5 kg and more) at the distance of 2 meters. Find optimal sensitivity. The signal must be weak but wide.
Third. Throw away your sewage frame. All the places you can pass through with it are searched hundred times. Use PVC garden tube which is flexible. Not sure this unit can support flexible frame and keep silent on bending, but worth to try for sure.

    • @TrueVikings

Hey Dimitry, sorry for not getting back to you earlier. Thank you for your ideas how to imorove out chances, much appreciated.
I take it you have visited the area quite a few times, maybe you've been in one of those hunting teams that search there every year?
How do you go about building a good flexible pvc frame? We had lots of issues with the sewage pipes as you correctly guessed! Do you have any photos or a guide how to construct a well built frame? Feel free to send an email to thetruevikings@gmail.com Your help is very much appreciated! Stay safe and take care

@@TrueVikings We use low pressure poliethilene tubes. Black ones. Best option to use 3/4 inch. It is possible to use PVC white tubes as well, but they are heavier and not enough flexible. Other thing is that PVC are being sold as 3 m units and you have to mount them together, and poliethilene as a hank, and you can easily cut the exact size.
Yes, I am from one of the teams.

OMG, you need to contact an agent that handles voice talent. Your accent and **not and insult** monotone delivery is absolute gold if hired to narrate a pharmaceutical's commercial. That voice would get people to listen to a drug ad. Drug ads use the same voice actors. They have basically trained their audience to tune out content associated with those same voices. Seriously, you should become a voice actor for American commercials.
