I appreciate the compliments and I'll say this:
I don't flip my sticks to be "cool," I flip them because it is entertaining to myself to challenge myself to see what I can do while I play and it is entertaining to my subscribers. I make these videos for them and they enjoy that not only do I play the drums, but I try to make the videos as entertaining visually as they are drumming-wise. There is only so much stage presence a drummer can have, and I try to max it out with energy and visuals.

I am self taught on the drum set. :) You don't really need lessons to learn to play set, you can learn by watching and listening to others. But I was taught to read music, and other musical composition/theory stuff through middle school and high school band. I highly recommend learning to read music and participating in school band if it is available :)

That's ok I forgive you :) But just remember, I didn't write the music, just the drums! I'm just trying to play as wide a variety of material as I can so everyone can be happy. Unfortunately that means sometimes people may like yourself may not like the latest song choice, but because of how often I do covers that means that it'll only be a short time til something you do enjoy :D Have a great night!
