I think it's got a mona lisa situation there is a huge chance it will be ruined if attempted to be restored it should've been restored 20 years ago when it was still in one piece mostly
@stereotypicalemousername9507 I privately messaged an artists who made a replica of the mask as it looks today and they claimed that they sent him pictures of the mask as it is today for sculpt and painting reference. The owner of the mask also urged the artist to not share the pictures because he doesn't want anyone to view the 78 mask today. I don't know if the artists is just lying to seem like they have a special reference or smth and I don't really care to find there instagram account but they made a post claiming they had the exclusive reference but you could easily find it! Not many people replicate the 1978 mask today!
@@coleslegoworldthe flap hanging off the neck last time it was seen i bet fell off and the bottom lip chin area is probably working its way off too. the thing should have been foam filled and vacuum sealed ages ago like you said. when that original guy bought it from dick warlock the clock was ticking.
Great video! I own Josh Hartnett's School Blazer from H20! It is one of my favorite props I own. I also have a few Friday The 13th props. I look forward to seeing that video.
Amazing how Halloween 2s pumpkin was shot. That thing is huge. Chris, there's an article on Peacocks cancelled Friday the 13th series, you should do a video on it.
Thanks for sharing all the detailed mask pictures and backstories. Over the years it's been pretty hit and miss with the masks imo. Even with big budgets and talented makeup artists, in some movies they just can't get it to look like the original (which I assume is the goal). Or even just look -good-. I was shocked to see that one mask go for $120,000. What? And I didn't realize that rights issues with hair was a thing. That electric-socket, blazingly blonde hair has become somewhat of an icon at this point. Always gives me a good chuckle whenever he saunters into a scene. I will say, though, that I'm a big fan of Zombie's masks. They fit perfectly with his more intimidating and brutal Michael. I don't think they could've done a better job with that one. Anyway, really enjoyed seeing the various 'models,' how they've been taken care of (or lack thereof) the masks over the years. Entertaining -and- informative; the best combo
I live in Ohio and I know the guy that owns the original Halloween screen used mask you had at the beginning of your video. He also ows Dick Warlocks boots, knife and coveralls. I will need to reach back out to him to see if he still owns them. He runs a seasonal haunted house every year here in the Columbus, OH area.
Love these type of videos. For the DGG trilogy set of masks, Chris owns the Poster Hero and Stunt Backup H40, the Stunt Kills and Corey’s Hero Ends. James owns a stunt H40, and both Hero Kills and Ends masks. Nick Castle owns the Hero H40, his Stunt Kills and a Stunt Ends. The rest of the screen used masks from H40 are with Ryan Turek, DGG, Ryan Freimann. There were only 3 Kills masks apparently. The Ends, a total of 12 were used, not many people know where the rest are. Rohan Campbell and Aaron Armstrong do own their screen used masks tho. Sorry for the long comment, I’m just a nerd for the trilogy masks 😂
I think the pumpkin from the opening credits in Halloween II is so cool! I’ve been searching for a long time for a replica of that pumpkin that opens up and reveals the skull inside. I know spirit Halloween released an officially licensed light up Halloween 2 pumpkin, which is a must have collectors item, but it resembles the pumpkin which was used in the Halloween II movie posters. I would absolutely love to find a replica of the pumpkin from the credits which actually opens up.
You should get a trick or treat studios Halloween resurrection mask and do a custom collectibles to make it look like the screen used burnt version from the end of the movie ‼️‼️
I feel like if they sent the original hero mask to Tom Spina only to stabilize it fixing some of the rod around the neck and making it wearable again it would be awesome I am not saying that I want a full restoration as it would take away most character that it gained in the last 40 years but I think some touch-ups and some new latex Patchwork on the on stable fragile areas would really help with its longevity it already looks amazing for it being 40 and out of thin latex
I kept wondering where Michael myers got all his masks from lol after being burnt then back to new in the next movie, it's not lime he could just go to a store and buy a new one lol
A Screen Used Bloody Michael Myers mask from Halloween 2018 the version they used in the sequence in the final battle at the end of the film when Karen Strode shoots Michaels in the cheek with a sniper rifle from the basement. if i got my hands on that mask i'd be set. Remember the last comment i sent i said i was on the hunt for an og Don Post Kirk Mask well TOTS offers a version of the Don Post Kirk Mask called the Don Post 1975 Mask. defiantly check it out and maybe do a custom collectable on the same process of how Tommy lee Wallace converted the kirk into the Shape and make your own shape mask ik you sold all your myers masks but i believe you gotta have at least one and why not make one your self. take care mate ❤ to you, Chloe, Angus and your family - Jman Fett Cosplay
I own the cancelled “CW’s Friday the 13th tv series” hockey mask originally going to be titled “Crystal Lake Chronicles” ua-cam.com/play/PLQWCLN7M8PMbDFLnhurbyDbXM6dFv_lP8.html&si=ipyeGfd9nEd6XyQD
Blew dog ass that i couldn't find a myers mask WHATSOEVER throughout the 80s. Finally found one in a mall somehere in the 90s. A crappy Halloween 4 mask with painted hair. It unfortunately was ripped to shreads by an angry ex gf 😂. Oh well ive replaced it finally plus have a collection. Only it's sad that these masks have a life cycle 😢
Rob's first Halloween should have been split into two movies and the second maybe the third movie but i liked his first movie, they second just toss it in the trash. Did like how they cast chucky in their movie
That was actually Rob Zombie's original idea, was making a Michael backstory movie first and then the second could be the remake of the first one. Malek Akkad turned that down because it was a risky step, and so he had to essentially smash his movies together.
I kinda would like to see an alt universe take on Michael. Make him a guy suffering from ptsd coming home from war, maybe Vietnam. That could kinda explain how he knows how to kill and hunt his prey and they could say their version of a final girl remind him of the people he ended haunting his dreams. Have him craft his shape mask but make it kinda tactical, maybe a thin metal or durable plastic, a repurposed part of a gili suit could be used for some sort of hair, tactical vest hudden underneath his signature mechanics suit, a few daggers hidden on him and his boots could a place for hs hand made knife. I want this type of Michael know how to blade smith so he could make his own blades solving the problem if he loses a weapon
The idea as a whole isn’t bad, but it should have absolutely nothing to do with Halloween. That idea strays way too far from the original concept of the character of Michael Myers, killing any chance for hardcore (and likely casuals) to give a shit. Taking away “The Shape” and “Halloween” from that idea doesn’t hurt it at all. adding that in, absolutely does.
Halloween 78 holy Grail for me would be a screen used clown mask from young Michael. Might be wandering around out there somewhere.
The way the Resurrection mask aged actually looks really cool
The resurrection mask isn’t to bad looking
Edward scissorhands looks like he wants to give Joker a fade
BRO😭🙏
Facts🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀
Cosplay Chris x the Halloween franchise. The perfect combo for a cracking vid.
Big fan from Ireland 🇮🇪☺️
if only tom spina designs could restore the original hero mask from 78 film that would be so great if it happened.
I think it's got a mona lisa situation there is a huge chance it will be ruined if attempted to be restored it should've been restored 20 years ago when it was still in one piece mostly
id settle for the guy who owns it to actually give us an update as far as i know it hasn’t been seen since 2017

That pronunciation of carhart was brutal
The Halloween 2 pumpkin actually being big unnerves me for some reason
Sean Clark has the cutting board from H2. The one the old lady was making a sandwich on. 😂
Are you having a lend or serious?! Because if true that’s brilliant 😂
It is true, it stayed in the house where they filmed that scene and Sean bought it.
Sean is a good friend of mine, he even has screen used fake glass from rob zombie’s Halloween where Michael breaks the glass from the car scene.
Great video! I own Josh Hartnett's School Blazer from H20! It is one of my favorite props I own. I also have a few Friday The 13th props. I look forward to seeing that video.
I like the neck extension but its actually in good shape considering how old these masks are
heh, *shape*
Don Shanks Micheal Myers mask be looking more like how Micheal's mask looked in the Rob Zombie movies.
My grail Halloween piece, is the original Case Cutco & Sons knife from 78 to go with my Tradewears
I saw the Resurrection mask in person, along with the OG part one glove!
Last year!
Amazing how time changes everything
You got my subscription! I love all things props and I love seeing more videos about this strange hobby.
Chris. I love the Samurai Cop poster. 😂😂

What a cool video! So glad this popped up on my FYP!

You should do a video on the screen used props from the Scream franchise!
This reminded me of the shane gillis joke talking about the Australian goth lol "im actually very dark and twisted" hahahaha
I live in Ohio and I know the guy that owns the original Halloween screen used mask you had at the beginning of your video. He also ows Dick Warlocks boots, knife and coveralls. 11:17 The burnt Resurrection mask looks like a hybrid of Don Rickles and Peter Lorre.
Slight correction: the RZH1 coveralls are from the brand Carhartt.
Chris, I love your videos and cosplay work...but my guy...it's CAR HEART (Carhartt) lol (Source; I live in bum-f@ck Iowa and work at a farm store) 🧡

such a cool video buddy, just picked up a subscriber. A F13th update would be dope. Love this content
Loving this kind of content!

After Friday the 13th if we can, can we do chucky? If we can that would be cool if not that's ok
One of the other masks used in the 1978 film is apparently owned by Tony Moran. According to Sean Clark I think
Sent you some images of some of the Jason masks today - on Facebook 😊
My grail prop would definitely have to be the knife from the original
What a Great Video !!!🎃
Thank You !!
If you can dig into it and find it, see what happened with the original Poulan 245a saw from the 1974 Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
The Halloween 5 mask actually looks more cool now than then.
Maybe Scream props after the Friday the 13th video?
Ohh Yes!
That 75 Kirk transfer looks good
You should get a trick or treat studios Halloween resurrection mask and do a custom collectibles to make it look like the screen used burnt version from the end of the movie ‼️‼️
Carhart. (Car-heart)
I saw the part 5 mask in person when i met Don Shanks. I asked him if i could buy it. It did not go well!
FYI:. Pronounced Car-heart overhaul . Lol, love ya bud.
Thank you 😊
Do scream screen props used where are they now
Love your videos Chris been here since your Casey jones cosplay video 🎉
If you add some hair to the burnt resurrection mask, I'd say it's better than the Kills and Ends mask
The 🎃 is more accurate to Misfits "Halloween" 1981 7inch album art
Texas props or sleepaway camp props and stuff like that would be cool?
Love these videos
You should do a video on props from The Strangers!
my grail piece would be the screen used mask from the dream sequence in Rob Zombies Halloween 2 that mask is just 😘👌
The Rob zombies Halloween 1 mask , suit and knife is located at a horror museum and you can see it in person
Missed opportunity to call this "Scream used"
I kept wondering where Michael myers got all his masks from lol after being burnt then back to new in the next movie, it's not lime he could just go to a store and buy a new one lol
He actually got them from a store. Sneaking or breaking in and grabbing them off the shelf (at least it was that for the OG and H4).
Was it captain kirk or from the devils rain?
Bro love your content
Nice
What’s the auction website?
Wait, Ryan Tuerck the Formula Drift guy owns a mask???
Love this channel
I know you did not just pronounce carhartt (car heart) “shariat” 🤣
I don't remember Michael's overalls being brown in rob zombies Halloween 🤷♂️
I saw one of the screen used costumes in person

Like Rambo?
That’s just rambo with extra steps and also makes no sense, Michael is the physical form of evil not a mentally Ill army man lol
That’s fucking stupid
And to think Halloween couldve used William Shatner, i doubt he gets any royalties from any "Halloween" made movies for using "his face" ..
i own the clown mask from the reboot
love itt
Hi
