wibby Woo But this one is better, because has more scenes with Dee Wallace. If my mother was not my mother i wanted Dee Wallace's Mrs. Strode to be my mother.
*I really like this movie, even though I prefer the original. In both versions, Michael is pure evil, but in the remake his origin is tragically explained, while in 1978 he was simply born evil. Good video.*
he wasn't born evil in the original, it depends on what timeline you look at, in the 2018 trilogy, yes, he was pure evil, but in the H20 and original trilogy he was possesed by a demon.
That's the exact reason most people DON'T like it. Myers isn't supposed to have a reason, he's the physical embodiment of pure evil, he's a force of nature, he doesn't NEED motivation to kill, he just does things. Giving him an origin kind of ruins the whole mysterious feel to the character. The whole sister thing kinda worked in the original Halloween II, but Myers is still at his best in the original.
@@dylang1138 haven’t seen any of the movies but having motivation sounds better from the outside. I’ve learned since that Halloween II did the sister thing first though.
From what I was told the reason he was hunting Laurie specifically is because he saw her with the little boy she was babysitting and it reminded him of himself and his sister
I don’t. As Billy Loomis said “It’s a lot scarier when there is no motive Sid.” It’s so true though. Michael is scary because he does it for no reason. You can be a freaking stranger to him and he’d still kill you
Tyler Mane who played adult Michael Myers is terrifying. He's also 6'8 which makes him and Michael Myers even more terrifying and was a professional wrestler.
That's actually one of the reasons why I like Rob's version, Michael's appearance for me is what I always thought should be. the sequel not so much but yeah even the this mask is probably my fave.
I love love love how Zombie explored how evil michael was. Yeah he was abused but that shit was always there. Especially when he killed Danny's character. That's a different level of evil people
You could argue that that was when Michael killed what little bit of good was left on him since Danny was the only nice person to him and even cried that he was good to Michael
I've always had a soft spot for this movie. Rob Zombie's interpretation of Michael Myers is so imposing and primal. Even as a child, the scene where he beats the bully to death with the tree branch is kinda unsettling in how raw and violent it is. The kill in the bathroom is the same way, it's so feral and vicious. This Michael Myers is never "evil just because of supernatural forces," he's evil because he's mentally disturbed, had a bad upbringing, and even after getting committed, he never had anyone that would help him. Just Dr. Loomis trying to make his fortune and a name for himself. This Michael Myers is ALMOST someone to be pitied rather than cartoonishly demonic. He's a man, who was once a boy, neither of which ever had a fair chance at a decent life.
Gonna watch before it gets deleted by UA-cam. Edit: I know it hasnt been deleted, I thought it would after an hour because I thought this was the uncensored version.

This must be the work of an enemy stand
an explicit movie directed by Rob Zombie?
So just a regular Rob Zombie movie?
wibby Woo But this one is better, because has more scenes with Dee Wallace. If my mother was not my mother i wanted Dee Wallace's Mrs. Strode to be my mother.
Oof
Yeaaaahhhh
pretty much
Bruh rob zombie is dope.
At least his music is good.
*I really like this movie, even though I prefer the original. In both versions, Michael is pure evil, but in the remake his origin is tragically explained, while in 1978 he was simply born evil. Good video.*
Precisely.
He’s not really pure evil in this film, but he’s pretty close…
he wasn't born evil in the original, it depends on what timeline you look at, in the 2018 trilogy, yes, he was pure evil, but in the H20 and original trilogy he was possesed by a demon.
I like that they gave a reason for Michael to hunt down Laurie specifically.
You can be a freaking stranger to him and he’d still kill you
@@ghostface9702 all motives aside, this michael is obviously 10x more scarier then the original, in my opinion at least
Tyler Mane who played adult Michael Myers is terrifying. He's also 6'8 which makes him and Michael Myers even more terrifying and was a professional wrestler.
That's right. He was Big Sky in WCW.
Also he was Sabertooth in the original X-Men
He's physically imposing, but he's also an absolute sweetheart.
Fr when i first saw this movie I was like damn when did Michael Myers get so fucking SWOLE like holy shit.
That's actually one of the reasons why I like Rob's version, Michael's appearance for me is what I always thought should be. the sequel not so much but yeah even the this mask is probably my fave.
Stronk
That guy who was so nice to him, when he was killed... that hurt man 😢
He did try to cuff him, though, which pissed off the myer.
@@RiskierGoose340 that’s what pissed him off
Yeah Myers might have let him go if he didn’t try to cuff him.
I think that was Michael killing whatever humanity was left in him
I think that guy was trying to help Michael Myers’

I love that Rob Zombie consistently casts horror vets and legends in his films.
It's a great homage to the genre and the craft
Only Rob Zombie could've given us the fucking amazing casting of Richard Brake as Doomhead in 31
The fact I mistaken the guy who plays Ronnie as Rob Zombie 3 times already 🥲
@@jorts_master69 his Mrs is great in all his movies ,,world class. I hope no one took this comment seriously 🤪
@@jlogan2228 while trying to re arrest him. That's probably what made Michael snap on him and kill him in a rage
I agree even if Micheal had a nice loving family he would've still been a pychopathic serial killer. Psychopaths are born and you can't change that.
Abuse was not always there, we knew nothing except he killed his sister one night
Fun fact: Michael's older sister is played by "young jenny" from Forrest Gump.
Good
Thats why James says run forest run
That explains his pop culture reference.
So glad Judith got a bigger part in this remake
And she was in the virgin suicides
Couldn't have said it better bro
Gonna watch before it gets deleted by UA-cam.
Edit: I know it hasnt been deleted, I thought it would after an hour because I thought this was the uncensored version.
Probably just going to get age restricted, not deleted
I download them.
