Rc4wd 4runner is everything😍
From what I know, A&M offers a +0 and a +4mm Reverse kit for the TF2, That looks like the +0 kit. While I think the RC4WD kit I have on my 4 door hilux is like a +2? But according to A&M's website the larger rear screw is an M4 while the smaller front screw is an M3.
As for the wobbly tires, if those are the stock RC4WD foams, they could be wildly misshapen and overly soft, especially if they've ever gotten wet. Which if those beadlocks are loose? They would have certainly gotten wet with my driving!

The XtraCab fell off the top part of the barn last year. Luckily I didnt have the red body on at the time. Definitely glad I order a new one to go wheelin with.

i have those same tires and while i really like the size, i noticed the same wrinkling on the rear driver side tire. i took it off several times and attempted to reset it on the beadlock and it never went away. i noticed the compound is really stretchy and loose and would take some time to return to form. it's too bad too because there aren't enough tires in the rc4wd lineup in the 1.55 size that are bigger than 3.7 and smaller than 4.0 with an aggressive tread. I'm currently running the rock stompers (super swamper knock offs) and they measure about 4.0 and are just a hair too big. the sidewalls are much more stout however, so i will keep running them for the time being. glad to see you bust out the 4runner!
Grab a set of the a&m +4 (might be +5) shackle reversal
Will also fix that issue
Also the front should mount with 2 m4 and 2 m3 screws that way it won’t move anymore

Id change the grub screws for the drive shaft pins as they are only half threaded, which leaves the smooth part sticking out for the body, an stops the threads sawing the hole bigger😅
I’ve had five sets of the IROKS on different rigs I’ve bought over the years. And two out of every set of four tyres have never been true and wobble like mad .so I made good sets of four then the others that wobbled I’ve sold off ..there’s been some Chinese tyres I’ve tried that have been better made and have run truer than rc4wd tyres .be careful when using fusions on 3 s after a while they don’t like using 2s .I found once I had used them on 3s then if I wanted to go down to 2s after a while if you need to give it a good bit of throttle suddenly ,they stutter like the batteries are flat .when tested the battery’s still had around 55% charge still in them ..one I’ve got I’ve only ever used 2s on it and it doesn’t do it .but the other three does it after running them on 3s first .
I have the same 1.55 BF’s on my 4 runner and like you I think they look great on it! The tire is very soft with soft sidewalls, therefore I added a stiffer foam in mine and it helped! The foams that came with the tire were to soft. Also I do have the A&M shackles, but I like the Rc4wd reverse shackles better. They seem to be more accurate and also give a little lift in the front. Why didn’t you use a lift block to get your clearance , instead of cutting the fenders?
How's your suspension depth at the front? My TF2 is horrible, dips just to touch the servo horn. And I removed my front shocks to make it dip more, just that the servo horn is in the way.
Cool color,How heavy is that body? I chino modded my leafs to get them to travel better.
It’s not terribly heavy. Haven’t weighed it though. Close to the hilux body weight plus the top adds a little
Are you going to pick up the new r7 trans? Very little info on it. Seems like it brought the motor down slightly under the servo, but the rest of the trans sits higher. Also don't know about the gear ratios either. U know anything about it?
I haven’t seen it until now! Looks like a more basic setup. Says it’s billet aluminum, might save some weight.
@@RCeveryday if you take a look at where the motor sits with old /new trans on a side by side pic you can tell by where the servo is it definitely dropped the motor substantially. However the casing of the old trans had lower hanging fruit . My take is the motor being dropped should overall drop the cg. Could be a good upgrade for that alone.
