Beautiful and thoughtful video of this wonderful garden! There is one more thing that would fit into the spatial psychology aspect and that is the experience of entering the garden through the yew hedges. I visited there over 20 years ago and I still remember walking down the tall dark yew pathway and then stepping into the wide open view of the bright white garden - the visual and spatial contrast made for a powerful moment, one that has continued to influence my own garden making over the years.
Thank you for your lovely comment, Lynn. You make such an interesting point about those high, enclosing parallel hedges on the eastern approach which create great anticipation for what lies beyond and then magnify the impact as the White Garden is revealed. How wonderful that this memorable entrance to the White Garden has stayed with you and informed your own designs, whilst you in turn will inspire others with your charming garden - the ripples of horticultural influence spreading joy around the globe!
@@ApplePeaFernSea I love the image of ripples of horticultural influence spreading joy❤ Your channel is both beautiful and informative, you are certainly doing your part.
The transcript of the the narration is available if the speed was a little fast for some folk. I found this video well-paced and insightful, introducing ideas that I had not thought about during my own visit to the garden. "Dreadful" would seem to be a very strong word with which to dismiss what presents as a thoughtful and well-researched piece. Well done Apple Pea Fern Sea - thank you for this well-produced piece.
@@sonyawhaley Hi Sonya, we really appreciate your positive words. Congratulations on reaching 35K views in a year and for continuing to bring your brand of upbeat energy and insights to YT. Best wishes for 2024!

What a beautiful word to describe the beauty of this garden as well as this presentation.
Bravo 🤍
What a beautiful message, many thanks for your appreciation.
oooh
Thanks for watching!
Would like to view this utube, but very poor description. Little modulation in the voice but rushing and and no pauses between sentences.
Dreadful !
Sorry to learn of your disappointment Elaine, have a happy day there, and our best wishes.
