Episode 1 ✨
In this episode we are exploring the gardens of an historic mansion in the English countryside. This writer's retreat once belonged to the poet and writer Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson.
Dating to around the 1560s, Sissinghurst is made up of an Elizabethan Manor House and the gardens, as we see them today, are the results of Vita and Harold's careful planning and experimental planting since the 1930s.
It’s late May and the garden has sprung to life after a long, grey winter...
I hope you enjoy this episode.

Absolutely beautiful, better than when I went there in May 19. Thankyou. Just one thing I had to turn the sound down as the wailing music was very irritating. May just be me, I don’t know!
It's such a wonderful place to visit! Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you. And thank you for not talking!
