#6 Highlighter in the corner of the eyes, cheekbones under Brows, under Contour
I used the @LOrealParisAU true match concealer
#7 Brows, if nothing else, brush them up and out
McoBeauty fill and set
#8 Define your eyes with one shade, preferably a neutral complimentary colour
I used the St Renais Lip and Cheek tint in Acquedolci
#9 Brown eyeliner instead of black, so it isn't so harsh
Rumi Cosmetiques brown eyeliner
#10 Blush to add colour and help lift the face

#11 Lips - line and define
Youngblood liner Pout

THats the correct amount of makeup for me at almost 72✨ I'm wearing less makeup now as it looks softer.✨. No black liner or anything heavy...✨ Everyone always tells me I look at least 15 years younger than I am✨ so I'm happy with that...(I have always protected my face and neck from the sun so I think that has payed off) Anyway this was very helpful thank you..., ✨

Beautiful look and technique! However, being old enough to be your mom, I doubt I'd get the same results, though I try...less is more, I agree! This look I can do, I don’t have your blue eyes, mine are brown but I wear the shades of cosmetics you’ve used here often. I also like pinks. This look is gorgeous, so youthful and natural. Well done on this look!😊
You are so welcome! I am so glad yes these shade and Pinks will look good on brown eyes. You can also use either a grey eyeliner or eyeshadow as eyeliner helps to bring out brown eyes. Use it with either your pink shades or earthy tones 😊

I do wear grey eyeshadow as liner it’s much more soft, black can indeed be too harsh for me and as you said brown is a better look especially when one gets older, but yes I like the grey too and I have worn it with pink shades. I agree with the grey liner/shadow as opposed to brown which I find yellows the appearance of the whites of the eyes. Hope you don’t mind me chiming in.

Something I’ve never heard or seen anyone suggest is using a light colored concealer along the bottom of the lines running from nose to mouth. Keep the line thin. Pat in and then apply foundation as usual. That lighter line will lift or remove the shadow of the nose to mouth-line crease and make it appear less deep.
Great tutorial and very helpful. I’d love to see a video on covering dark under eyes and little red veins on my chin as those are my two major skin issues.

Lovely video thank you. May I just ask what brand of mascara you used in this video and if it was a waterproof one. I sometimes tend to have my waterproof mascara smudge a little on the bottom lashes but it looks strange if I don’t use a little mascara on them. 😊

I only spend approx 5- 10 minutes real time. Takes longer when explaining. Maybe I show you an actual 10 minute makeup
I use Youngblood loose mineral foundation and it looks great on my 55 year old skin (natural skincare, no aggressive things). I find it sits great on my skin. 😊

Best vid. I've seen, totally relatable, I've always worked with the principle that 'if you notice the make-up, it's too much make-up' . I'm 73 and still never use foundation, ageing skin is still ageing skin but with a layer of something on top, which ALWAYS settles into lines ! Just dot in on where you can even skin out. Your skin is fabulous anyway, would be very interested to see you do that method on someone my age.

Very soft and elegant look...I would like to know what colours you would use for a darker skin.
Thank you! It would really depend on your skin tone. I know the Revlon tints have quite a few shades. Just remember to not go too light as that can end up ashy looking. However, if you do find it is on the lighter side, you can use a contour shade to warm it up. Hope that helps 😊

Very good. Any tips for dry patches? I have extremely fine dry skin which flakes after I’ve done my makeup. Also, I have sun damage on half of my face and generally very pink. 😫
I would ensure that you are using the right moisturiser for your skin type. Obviously, something is hydrating. I would also use a primer too. That can help with dryness and minimising pores. Some Primers even help with redness. Have a look at the Smashbox range.

What’s shade color suits brown to black eyes?
Thank you! I would suggest grey or Plum shades to help bring our brown eyes, even just along the lashline and then use a lighter shade on the ball of your eye. Hard to really say without seeing your eyes, so I hope this helps 🙏

Both MAKEUP FOREVER and LAURA MERCIER make a powder to cream foundation, that when buffed into the skin result in a flawless finish for mature skin...no creasing or dryness in the finish!! Honestly, it is more flattering than liquid foundation on mature skin...

Yes it is. Just ensure that your eyeshadow is on the brow bone also, this will help with lift. Just a light shade on your eye and then a light contour shade on crease and brow bone. Hope that helps 😊

Just found your channel,I’m 48 and still learning makeup.I struggle a lot with mascara smudging on my lids,tried to powder the lids down and also bought waterproof mascara by Maybelline .I also use cream makeup mostly don’t like the powdery look.
I now don’t apply eyeshadows anymore🥲

Yes try a smudge proof or tubular Mascara. Some of the waterproof ones are very hard to get off. Then it irritates the eyes. I would suggest using just one shade of eyeshadow on your eyes in matte in a Neutral shade either tan or warm Peach and brush it all over mobile lid and on to your Brow bone to help lift the eyes. Let me know if this is helpful. I will aim to do a video for you.

I love that idea if the nectar above the other blush! I’m going to try that! I like powder blushes too. The creamy seem to melt off in Louisiana heat /humidity. The powder blush sets too without the heaviness of adding powder too 😊

Yes you could definitely wear it on its own. My Mum loves to wear this one. It is a perfect "no makeup, makeup"
I am only fair n the tinted sunscreen is only light wld l choose the same colour n add a bit more colour with bronzer or go for something darker?
