This piqued my interest, personally. I was really into the Legend of Spyro growing up and that interest never stopped. But I never bothered to look into it beyond the surface level. So it's really interesting seeing this kind of content for me.
I wish people would address why Nina and Flash dont get mentioned or appear again after ANB because that is the thing that has been on my mind and why I felt they died with the Swamp burned in DOTD but turned out it's just a part of Warfang, though I think it could still be the Swamp, it has dead trees and areas just changed with lava and fire which has anything no longer recognizable.
Finally watching this video: Ngl these were some of my favorite levels in the game. The hide and seek stuff from the first level was wholesome and I really love the huge mushrooms. The temple was really cool and majestic forest areas from all three games were so chill. Even the scary night time variant from TEN left an inspirational impression on me. Kinda wish we spent more time in this area and we got to learn more about the other buildings that were strewn about in the background. Nice job looking over and identifying the indigenous life there and looking at the cocnept art as well man. Thanka for highlighting my favorite areas man. :3
First video I watched when waking up. To answer your question near the end of the video it caught my interest in feeling nostalgic looking at these environments and as well seeing the concept art of the creatures.
I love this series i loved the environments and critters in the legend of spyro trilogy i always wanted to know that those black mouse/weasel looking creature's were in Dante's freezer.
As a fellow enjoyer of the LOS universe, as well as someone who deeply ponders all the grey area of the games, I will say without a doubt that I REALLY enjoyed this video! I loved all of the facts you touched upon from flora to fauna to known history, you have talent for keeping lore organized and peaking the interests of the right people! This video helped me understand the Swamp Area more clearly (which is btw my favorite area in Spyro). Any other location videos you make I will gladly watch! Thank you for you, LOTD. You're the Best!
Great video and very informative. I like the new use of the free camera shots of the different sections of the level and the inclusion of the plants and animals. One bit of relevant information that wasn’t included in the video is that the Swamp is part of an island that is close to the mainland. There’s still confusion to this day from some people that think believe this area and the Burned Lands are the same thing when they aren’t.
True, probably will mention it in the next one of these since I'd probably be going for Dante's Freezer next, but honestly I do wish there was an actual solid map for things like this Dolphin with the free camera stuff is overpowered
@@loreofthedragon That’s gonna be a good one. Dante’s Freezer has been interesting potential lore. A frozen land that seems like it was once populated. Possibly by the trolls and ogres that have been essentially turned into undead draugr. A warrior people in life most likely. Even in death, they still fight a war against another that comes to their homeland, the apes found that out quickly. I think the biggest mystery about Dante’s Freezer is how these creatures suffered such a fate.
totally awesome dude, I really have been looking forward to watching the large majority of your videos. Hopefully you have been doing alright lately. I will say that I learned something new today about the Legend of Spyro series, I at least really appreciate all your efforts and dedicating work for us fans. As well as the fact you are one of those who are in my prayers, just to let you know. Once again, I am looking forward to seeing more fantastic and exciting Lore. Peace out dude.
Amazing video as always LotD, and I love the new format of looking at environments specifically throughout TLoS series. You're videos always have my interest piqued and I'd love to see more of these type. So many amazing environments throughout the trilogy, what's your favourite? I personally love Concurrent Skies or the Catacombs from DotD, that one big room with the backdrop that has a massive cavern extending off into the distance always has me mesmerised whenever I playthrough, wondering what could be down there...
I've been always wanted to ask you this!!! Which one of the Spyro games do you like the most??? I'll be honest I haven't played any of them so I can't give you a fare answer.
I think from the perspective of I wanna just hop on quick for a level or two, reignited If I wanna sit down and play for a bit, ANB, it depends honestly. I like them both just for different reasons. Reignited has a very nice feel to it when playing, ANB is the most polished of the legend games and has little details for me to find.
Great video tho man. Would love to lewrn More about the Skavengers and the airship level. That one really stuck out to me while playing TEN. I like pirates and it was one of the few levels from That game that actually had sunlight lol. I also died a lot there. But yeah man keep it up
Hiya LotD! I love all things within The Legend of Spyro trilogy and beyond in terms of lore and concepts. 🧡 So much so, that I've been looking to the dragon designs, environment designs, and creature designs in hopes of replicating them in my own art someday. Mayhaps a fan project if I ever take it that far. 👀 I love this video, and I think videos like these are valuable; most don't talk about or document all of the small details that make TLoS's world its own, and I find it so unique and worth preserving and talking about. All that said, I'd love to see more of this kind of content, both canon and non-canon headcanons by Jared Pullen and other creators from the TLoS team! Thanks for covering some of my favorite games of all time, and as always, stay safe fellow historian! 😁
Hey man. How are you doing? Also hey I hope I never bugged you with the suggestion, also I had a question, do you have any good arguments about Spyro somehow being able to pull Cynder free from the golems massive hand being serious plot armor? I argue the fail with blaze (he’s a friend of mine) is what realistically would happen in that situation at least if Spyro doesn’t have help. No way I argue he’d pull her free and I have a massive amount of arguments if you want to hear them, let me know your personal thoughts🤓❤😊
@@loreofthedragon well naturally what happens in game is he gets eaten 😜😂 that’s my thought lol edgy sure but the fail naturally happens and imo the more believable outcome XD fair argument huh? XD
@@loreofthedragon ah, but that’s if you press something XD if you let the game play itself XD ya know as blaze explorer once said CHOMP XD Tbf it’s not confirmed if Spyro dies in the golems mouth XD he may be ok 😜
@@loreofthedragon lol yeah but still imo I argue Spyro wouldn’t regardless been able to pull her free. He just wouldn’t have the muscles required ect. I do hope you see my argument and see the problems in the game. Imo malefor arguably would have won. In that situation
Just an FYI the spider section is ends at around 04:56. Bit of a mistake there on my part 😅
It’s fine lol 😂
Amazing video would like to see more of these

More lore videos for Spyro is always a positive, if you enjoyed making this then I'd love seeing more of these!

Wish the games addressed it
I really like the ecological analysis of this. Dante’s freezer and other areas would be cool as well.
Another awesome video and I have subscribed to this channel for 1 & a Half Years.
Definitely curious to see more like this!
I loved this video. The areas in The legend trilogy always fascinated me.

I actually have never noticed that there are 2 different types of bulb spiders in ANB. Loved the video!

Ah yeah. I was lookin at those while making this honestly. Good to know other people would be interested 🤔
@@loreofthedragon that’s actually interesting. I like the way they look XD
i'd love to see more stuff like this! the world of legend of spyro is something im really interested in!
