I would love love love to see a (sorta) series on the advent sketchbook! Maybe every time you use it you can do something different? For example: this time you tried different art supplies, next you use random art supplies, and after than you use only one colour in different shades? Just a silly idea!
Omg this was so good!!! I loved the colours on the penguin page, the abstract shapes turned out brilliant and that drink looked DELICIOUS!! I’m so so pleased you enjoyed my book, thank you again for the review ❤
I really love how that abstract winter landscape turned out!! ❤ Also, I'm one of those people that uses the chisel tip, it's perfect for filling in large areas of a solid color, perfect for random square backgrounds that I always resort to! 😂
A series using Cassie’s book would be great! I really liked the abstract page. The Stabilo crayons also come in more colors. (Now I have to go order the pastel ones! 😂)
Ooohhh more advent sketch book would be awesome. These all turned out great. I adore my chisel tips! I can’t use brush tips, don’t know why but i cant seem to get the hang of them.
i always get so excited when i see a video of yours!!! your commentary is always so funny! also, yes please!!! you should totally do more of the advent calendar sketch book!!
Hi Rose 👋🏻 I discovered your channel completely by chance last month.... I've been struggling with bad anxiety lately and have found your channel so soothing and inspiring; your videos have been a great remedy to anxiety attacks and have given me things to focus on and try. I just wanted to say thank you, it's been an unexpected antidote x
Cassie's book is so fun!! 🥰 I can't wait to get it!! 🤗 Your pages turned out awesome! 😍 The mug is so colorful with the Stabilo Woodies! 🌈 I think they are like cheap Neocolor IIs. Your drink was lovely!! 💗 The pattern page was really cool!! ☃️
@RoseRequinCrafts They are a very fun medium to work with! 😍 I have seen comparison videos with the Woodies and Neocolor IIs. Art by Heather uses them together for her sketchbook art, which she creates beautiful pieces using those two together! 🥰
I love the Stabilo Woody's. I just love the feeling of them on the paper. There are more colors, this set are the most light pastel colors. The other colors are more vibrant and less opaque. If you go with a wet paintbrush over the tip of the pencil, you get the most vibrant color.
Today was a fun episode...i think yoy may have started a new series or a couple of series....like new materials never tried as one and the advent as another or new materials used on every page in the advent.... Either way im invested 😊❤ id love to see it...i totally get the coloring issues it always takes me forever to decide for sure how and what colors to use on pages...i just started coloring a book with single colors on each page so possibly to escape that issue but im having more trouble it seems deciding on shades of color lol....and those simptap markers i felt the same on those dry and when you try to refresh them the paint floods but doesnt soak in the tip i really didnt like mine i gave them to my daughters. Thanks for another great episode and can't wait to see what supplies you review next or what projects you do next!!!
6:50 not coloring the inside of the handle makes it look like the mug burst through the background. 12:38 I liked the bleeding together. It would be useful if you actually wanted it that way. Going over it made a really nice ombré.
The stabilo woodys are great fun. I have the big pack. They may have started as a child’s art supply but lots of adults have them now. I’d say they are better for art journal spread where you want a lot of colour in one place.
Chisel tip is better for larger areas and if you use it that way, you save the brush tip from wear and tear. I love that you did the penguin page. Three of us chose that same page this weekend. It is totally too cute to resist :) I absolutely love your abstract page. The roll the dice page is so pretty. I love those colours :)
The stabilo jumbo pens are a classic here in Germany for kids! Especially for drawing on windows or class doors ❤️ we have the big set with 15 pens here and love them :)
I think that I love how you used your new art supplies. I was a bit sad that the clay obsession seems to be over for this week, at least. I can't seem to remember if you've ever used baked clay yet. Hey, that might be a "new" art supply for the next time that you need one!
I would've been tempted to try sharpening those stubby little pencils with a different sharpener or an x-acto knife... but the penguin page came out soft and fun. Reminds me of a kids' cartoon movie-- Flipper the Penguin? Skipper? The unicorn cotton candy drink sounds fun to try, and the background is a neat effect =)
Pro tip: use another sheet of paper instead of silicon or anything that doesn’t absorb. I use a large page from my biggest sketchbook that’s thick enough to handle long term use. Save your silicon mat for paint 🙃
How do you deal with the smell of alcohol markers? Does it bother you? I have a friend who really struggles with it, and he came to my mind watching the frappuccino part 😅 Wax is a the og villain of markers, I have lost several ones in those battles 💀

Ooh! I really like that idea!
I agree! Would love a series on this!
@@sonofthesea_x I love the random art supply idea! 🤩

Thank you for letting me try it! It's so fun!
This was fun! I think you absolutely should try out all the art products in the book! 🤩
I definitely wanna do more!

Honestly a part two to this video would be awesome!
The art advent book looks like so much fun. You should definitely do more pages.
These all look super cute! I also have a hard time choosing colors for coloring pages, I thought it was just me!
I thought it was just me too! 😂
How cute those chunky Stabilo pencils are. I've never seen them before.
The background texture on the dice page turned out really cool! 💗
Love the abstract page ❤
Very creative ❣️
Ooohhh more advent sketch book would be awesome.

Great video Rose! Really fun to watch you create with new things 😊
Thank you so much!
I really really want a drink that makes me feel like I saw a unicorn when I drank it ❤ that would be so magical!
Right?!?
Wow, I love that abstract scene ❤
Thank you!
Penguin is adorable💕 very festive:) And I love the drink!! The whipped cream turned out so great, I love the pink and blue details!
Thank you so much!

I apparently keep dancing around cheaper versions of the Neocolors so I might need to invest in those

I do need to try the one color challenge too.
And there are definitely more art supplies laying around in here that I haven't tried yet. 😉
What a cute book! And your art as always is super cute! Id love for you to do more of the book!
🥰

It's like the hot cocoa version of the Kool-Aid Man
@@RoseRequinCrafts 😊
Thank you for the inspiration.Love such types of videos=3These art supplies are so nice=3Have a wonderful week=3

Wanted to take a quick minute to let you know I love your nails!!!
Thank you!
I would love to see you try and make some dice. I know there are resin versions but a foam clay puffy dice set would be adorable
Oooh!
New to your channel. Loving your whimsical style!
Been inspired by you and another artist to purchase this book. It should be here tomorrow.
Yay! 💕🌸
Awesome! You're going to love it!
I love Cassie’s book. I’m just waiting for mine to be delivered. ❤. You did awesome prompts! I think my fave was the drink. 💜
I can't wait to see what you do with it!
@ aww thanks!!! I just can’t wait to get it! 💜💜💜

I, too, have that issue with coloring. So many adult coloring books empty because I get decision paralysis staring at the page.
I hope this becomes a series of you trying out weird or obscure art supplies. I really like it and you have a new subclscriber!
I may already have started a pile in my craft room
@RoseRequinCrafts haha awesome. I look forward to seeing the vids!
Beautiful artwork
Thank you so much 😀

I mean it's not "over" just paused, lol.
I have tried polymer clay once, and have plenty of that waiting for me in my craft room too. 🤣
Lovely art work watching with a friend and she said she's turning the penguin into a frankenpenguin.
🤣
Unicorn Frappuccino 🤗
I struggle with selecting colors for coloring as well 😊
Same
The bleedy markers might work well on Priority Mail labels. The sticker backing keeps them from bleeding through to the next surface.
Ooh! I could make stickers!
2:42 i have the same struggle choosing colors 🥲

🥰
Yes! I don't like coloring books for that reason! I can only do color by number. Not so chaotic. 😂
Cute

You could use a utility knife to sharpen those pencils to a sharp point.
Good idea
How do you deal with the smell of alcohol markers? Does it bother you? I have a friend who really struggles with it, and he came to my mind watching the frappuccino part 😅
Wax is a the og villain of markers, I have lost several ones in those battles 💀
I don't usually notice it honestly, unless it's a sharpie or something. Then it gives me a headache.
❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've noticed almost all the UA-cam videos I watch now have background music. Did something change or am I losing my mind 😂
I have always used it but lower the volume really far. For some reason it seems more noticeable to people on certain videos. I have no idea why.
