This first ecounter of Rexy and Giga was way more better than the final fight. So natural and realistic.
why rexy leaves in first encounter
I assumed this wasn't Rexy. We see at the end, there are 2 other Rex in the valley. Cause why would Rexy run one fight, which was over food, then stay and fight later over no prize

@@DNB770it was Rexy. At that point Rexy was just looking for food, and didn’t bother fighting with giga over a deer. You have to remember that Rexy is very old in this movie, which is the reason why she loses the fights with Giga

Hey, from Australia 🇦🇺 I remember watching Jurassic Park at the cinema in 1993 when I was 6 years old - bring back that glory!!
Absolutely loved this movie, but Owen saying “Allosaurus?” to the Giga even though he just came face-to-face with an Allosaurus back in Malta always made me chuckle😅
@SwrveYT I loved this movie too, I just wish that we could've seen more of the newer species introduced into the film.
To be fair with all the scales they gave Gigantosaurus it did kinda look like the dominion allosaurus.
Maybe he's talking about Allosaurus/Saurophaganax, which is relatively close in size to T-rex
And he probably saw one on Nublar during Fallen Kingdon

One of the only good part of this movie is this scene. They(Giga and Rexy) have real animalistic behaviour, fighting for food and not killing one of them in the process.
Honestly, all the dinosaur scenes were good IMO.

True but I have a feeling as time would go on rexy would build her own territory away from the gigas area and then everything would be a lot more peaceful since buck and doe were already there and seem to survived as well as they did in Sorna

I can't wait for Jurassic world 4! We will probably see new characters and a completely new story! Also, director Gareth Edwards is definitely the best director for this series.

Seeing that Dimetrodon encounter in the mines for the first time in the cinema was proper tense. Even though I could sense the jump scare was coming, I still jumped when the Dimetrodon roared the first time.

The first encounter was realistic and cool, you have to remember Rexy is past her lifespan in this movie, she’s 32, her expected lifespan is 28. And why risk her life over a dead deer when she can get other food. In the final fight, they were forced to fight, but they should have had rexy just beat giga on her own, or have spino come in and team up with Rexy. That would have reunited the split fanbase between Rex fanboys and spino fanboys.
Yeah but they already did that with the first Jurassic World with having the T. rex team up with other dinosaurs to beat the big bad.

Realistic? I’m not sure. Yes Rexy is older but that’s the only argument in favor of the giganotosaurus. She’s more intelligent with far more experience and far superior eye sight.
@@thatoscarguy9965 I wouldn’t say far superior eyesight since it’s based on movement. Plus giga probably has experience as well. And all of that doesn’t mean anything when you’re that old.
@@reddrex8617 if we’re basing it off of what was said in the first movie then yes I suppose but outside of it that’s definitely not the case. Paleontologists don’t make that same claim. Realistic within the movie universe sure.

A thought occurs to me. Did Kayla not know about the Buck and Doe being in the valley as well?
It angers me that the rest of the film was terrible, but the first Trex and Giga encounter, as well as the Theri scene, were just perfect.

One among the very few decent scenes in the last film. I hope JP7 doesn't shoe-horn in another big baddie dinosaur for the sake of it being demolished by the plot armour of rexy for no reason whatsoever.

I really wanted to see the Indominis Rex vs Gigantosaurus since the doctor took the last egg. And they should bring back the Spinosaurus since it’s technically still alive due to it being on another island.

I'm more puzzled about why the Dilo just let him do that without a struggle, animals are nearly always stronger than humans, it could've just turned his head at him and spit him in the face 🤔

It’s how real animals operate doesn’t matter who found what first if there’s a bigger animal that’s also hungry chances are that the bigger one always wins

It's a silly matchup, anyway. In reality the T. Rex was a heavier and much more powerful animal than the Giganotossaurus. A specimen of T. Rex even larger than Scotty has recently been making news. It's called the E.D. Cope T. Rex and another T. Rex specimen named Bertha which may be even larger is currently under study. Had they actually existed at the same time and place, The T. Rex would very likely have made short work of the Giganotosaurus. Hopefully Gareth Edwards will put a stop to the nerfing of the T. Rex.
