Cross post! I picked this car up a few weeks ago. Amusingly, at the time this model was not even on my radar. I have access to a BMW X5 company car, which I don't use too much because of mileage/useage allowances. That said I wanted a daily driver that was similarly spacious, but obviously not as expensive, and with better fuel economy. Was looking at a 3 Series, 4 Series Gran Coupe, Mercedes C Class, Jaguar XE, XF and 5 Series, and in the end, after multiple test drives of different vehicles, walked away with a brand new GT M Sport. It has the boot capacity of a 5 Series or Touring, only with more rear legroom than both (perhaps even more than the X5 too!), and handling dynamics similar to a 3 series, only a little more comfortable and with a slightly higher seating position that gives better visibility. Fact that it's cheaper than a 5 Series also makes it a better deal. When you stick it in Sport/Sport+ with Sport Auto, you also get great handling dynamics (including lighter steering), which I didn't expect from such a big car. Fuel economy is decent too, especially for the size. I also went with an M Sport version with 19" wheels like the one in this vid, as it makes it look that little bit more aggressive and sporty. Really happy with the purchase.

That's indeed a great deal having more room then the 3 - series sedan/touring, and paying just a few thousand 's of € for a car that's still drives like a 3 - series and have the room like a 5 - series. What kind of model do you have and are you happy with it?

I Always found it annoying the the Asians got the BMW 3 Series long-wheelbase available while we Europeans (read: taller people) had to buy a bigger BMW 5 series for the same space in the back.
I don't think that the BMW 3 Series GT is a beauty queen like a Mercedes CLS for example but it isn't ugly either. I would definitly buy a BMW 3 series GT over a Estate version as it's more spacious. The Estate would win for IKEA purposes but you should buy the GT with a towing hook instead.

omdat je ze niet mooi vindt? je noemt nu 3 types van de weet ik wel niet hoeveel types dus het is waarschijnlijk je smaak niet. de 5gt heb ik zelf ook niet echt wat gevonden maar deze 3gt vind ik met M-sport pakket een prachtige wagen.
