First off I wanna say how much I LOVE watching your videos! I even go back and watch them again sometimes!
The video that you made about using the clear gloss, I've watched it a few times lol, but I can't seem to fine the paul mitchell gloss ANYWHERE! I finally used the keisten ess gloss, but im not sure if it's as good as Paul mitchell.
SO ANYWAYYYY, that's not even what I was gonna talk to you about, (I tend to go all over the place when I talk lol). My doctor took me off birth control pills I guess maybe about a year ago, and without taking those hormones, I went straight into menopause (yay for me...🙄) my hair has COMPLETELY changed, not in a completely bad way but, it was very flat, and had very little, if any wave pattern. Well now, it's got lots of wave! I really don't have to do much to it after I wash it, besides let it air dry but with the texture change it feels really dry to me, and it can look frizzy, it's hard to get it to look smooth now! My stylist says that it feels healthy, but I just hate the rough feel of it now but yet it's still pretty soft!! I use olaplex, and Paul mitchell super skinny, but it still can look a tad frizzy. I'm wondering if my hair might have become protein sensitive! If I try to talk to my stylist about it, she never really says a whole lot on it, so I don't wanna keep nagging her, so I drop it. I know I'm getting some gray hair now, and I've heard that gray hair needs protein, but im scared to use shampoos with more than one protein in them, especially keratin! Please help me to know what I need to do! I feel like I'm walking around with someone else's hair on my head!!! Lol

Oh my goodness you are so incredibly sweet! Thank you so much for watching and even rewatching that is the best compliment! I do not know a lot about that particular glossing treatment but most of the ones that last the longest do come with a processing solution. Do you have a sally’s where you live? I might be able to recommend one from there or I can also find an alternative on Amazon if needed.
As far as your hair texture is sounds like the change In Hormones might be what is causing the dry and frizzy feel of your hair! The glossing treatment will help a ton and I would also suggest using a hair mask... you can use Joico K Pak reconstructor or even Olaplex 4 in 1. If you do use too much protein that can also cause breakage so make sure you are only using those products once a week. I would also suggest trying a leave in conditioner, frizz means dry to you need to add moisture back into your hair. I hope that helps

@@TheAngeSchofield THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR REPLYING TO ME, YOU'RE SO SWEET!
I DO have a Sally's, I can go there, but I can also order from them, it takes about an hour to get to it, but I have to drive that way at least once a week, or I could place an order with them! What's weird is, no one else thinks that it looks frizzy, 🤔 🤷‍♀️, my friend was saying that it might be so different feeling to me that I feel like it's dry and frizzy, im not sure about that, but I am sure that GETTING OLD SUCKS! LOL
I was out a couple of times this week, and I got 2 compliments on my hair after I commented on your video lol. I just used the olaplex #8 yesterday, and I just left it alone and let it do its thing, I LOVE the fact that I don't have to blow dry everyday, but, it just feels weird to me lol.
I would LOVE to hear what gloss recommendations you have if you have time! Thank you soooooo much

I’m so lucky I get to have you as my hair goddess! With your help the transition to my natural silver/grey/white has been relatively painless (except for those times I use the flat iron🤣). Thank you!

This video you made spoke to me since I just started the process of letting my previously highlighted hair with blonde and lowlights of brown to grow out. The blonde areas of my hair were getting dry straw like and seemed to always turn brassy by the time I went for my next highlight. I’ve been using “Not Your Mother’s” Long and Strong shampoo and pureology hydrate for conditioner. I’m just now showing my roots which are a salt/pepper mix of dark brown/black and gray. Would you recommend I switch yet? Thank you for your excellent videos that are very well done and entertaining as well. By the way I used to work with your mother Rose in the 80’s and absolutely loved working with her and was a good friend when I lived out west.

So I would say it all depends on what your end goal is; if you want to just blend the gray you can start with adding lowlights with a Demi permanent color so it doesn’t completely cover the gray and it just slightly blends but doesn’t leave a line of regrowth like permanent color.
I love that you know my Mom ❤️ she is the absolute best and I appreciate you supporting my channel. Let me know if you need anymore help

I have a question, Angela. I have a few yellow streaks in my white hair near my face. I hate that purple shampoo makes the yellow look silverish. Can I highlight the yellow strands to platinum? thanks! (Yes, my avatar needs updating lol)

Yeah could definitely lighten those gray sections but then you may give yourself regrowth with lightening your hair. Also I do want to say when you lighten to platinum it does completely remove pigment so then you may be left with dry hair. Personally I would suggest using a purple shampoo but mixing it with regular shampoo so it won’t turn so violet. If you are seeing yellow purple will definitely be needed to cancel out those yellow tons
