  • We've all been there. We have a moment of bliss or insight, and we think we have made it to the mountaintop of enlightenment. Then, something unexpected happens - like getting cut off in traffic or our least favorite coworker gets the promotion instead of us - and suddenly we find our mental peace deeply disturbed.
So how can we deal with people who bring us down? How can we stay cool, calm and collected? How can we not lose ourselves? And most importantly, how can we make our progress more permanent and unshakable?
In this video, I share the best way for dealing with negative people, dealing with people who bring us down, and finding a way through challenging situations and back to a place of real and lasting peace, joy and love.

So true, Todd. Though it kind of changes you in a toxic way…the way is to surrender, be grateful. Love, love, love 😊

Sometimes I get wrapped up in myself and my life so much that I forget that I was put on this Earth to help everyone else. God wants everything for us that Jesus received even some of the bad things to teach us. I tried to be more like Jesus but always fall short but I never quit.

Yes ~ always offering a mirror, and a chance to love more. Not as a martyr but as one who understands (self-love includes boundaries). Our loving frequency is the best thing we can offer this world. Thank you! ❤️🙏🏻🕊

Thank you so much. I think this is the most touching and impotent message I have heard from you.
I needed to hear this in this moment. Thank you over the rainbow. I'm so happy. I'm crying and so grateful.
    Thank you

Thanks Todd. It's tough knowing that, (at the moment), I am the person bringing the people I love down. I know what living with "toxic negativity" is, but, I am trying to forgive who I was and be a better me. I hope others can forgive me, (again), too.

Awareness and good intentions are the first and the most important step of that healing and forgiving journey. Most people won't even take the first step. I commend you, wish you all the best, and hope you can forgive yourself as well.

Thanks Tod. I enjoy watching your vids cuz they are not full of padding to get to the point. As the saying goes short and sweet! They always hit the sweet spot, the spot where the heart meets the mind.
    Thank you 🙏

Sounds like when we're down people try to bring us up but some try to keep us down and yeah it seems like when we were up people try to bring us down

I have realized that this is so true. Have a 7 year old son together with someone that has always challenged me to the maximum, most people would problably say I am stuck in a life long destructive parent relation but I can see that this has really forced me to get deep down into setting and knowing my boundries and communicating them. My focus have always been to do whats the best for our son and that has ofcourse helped me going forward.

Each day I listen to you on UA-cam because of your calm, brief words, that give me moments to breathe . Referring to PEOPLE WHO BRING YOU DOWN, I made a decision to let it go even though we were both making valid points, but I could sense it was more important to her ego to be right. She is very young and I am quite old (wish you tube would let me change that very old photo) and years ago I hoped I would be a wise old woman and gratefully it’s happening.
