Post Filming Impressions: So after I finished filming, the scent became very close to the skin, pretty much a skin scent. Overall it smelt like very dry woods. I agree with their house's position, that this isn't a perfume, I certainly wouldn't spend money on this. This is more a artistic endeavour, I found the opening, extremely interesting, but after smelling the drydown, I can't see myself wearing this. Personally, there's probably better 'mitti'/petrichor smelling attars and perfumes in the market, and possibly even cheaper - this is more of an artistic expression. It's worth a sniff if you can come across a sample and are a fan of this house, but honestly you're not missing much if you give this a miss!
I also have this fragrance surprisingly!! My collection felt incomplete without it now that I think about my past collection. I have to say I absolutely agree with you about all the notes and such 👌🏾 you really have a knack for this sorta thing huh
Welcome back bro! 😮 Yes this is literally 1 ingredient perfume. Dry clay distilled. But what you smelling is a true alchemy because it was distilled using copper pot and firewood so lots of smoky nuances coming in along with leathery facets. Every person gets something different from it. Very interesting yet simple creation.
Thank you my dear akh, it's great to be back :) That's so interesting! Very facinating that the opening can smell so complex with just one ingredient, the production of this, does sound like alchemy haha! Insha'Allah my first impression of Beauty and Beast will be released on Jummah. I loved it, lovely strong rose scent, it reminded me alot of Malik Al-Taif in the drydown - my wife will enjoy that one i'm sure. Excited to try the others very soon.
I have this sample collection I absolutely love Le Mitti, it only lasts 15 mins, 20 tops but it was easily my favourite in the collection. I know it’s not designed as a fragrance and is listed as “a bottled emotion” but I would definitely buy a full bottle of it if there was some longevity. Look forward to seeing your views on the others. Got my subscription
Thanks so much for sharing your experiance with this! Also thank you for your subscription, I really appreciate it! I'm releasing a 1st impressions of Beauty & The Beast tomorrow at 6pm :D If you're interested in my other Areej Le Dore reviews, you can find them here :) : ua-cam.com/play/PLguBwEV3eeDMRBNt1GhPPwzZjUZsXndTM.html
