I’ve noticed some notch the bottom of the stringer. Others do not. I like your method and will use that. Thx for the video.

Did you attach the bottom plate to the pavers? That's the part I'm trying to figure out how the best way to do it is.

We did not, the bottom plate is simply resting on the pavers. The weight of the stairs will keep it down.
