    Everyone I've seen running with these RK Heads is more than happy with the performance, no matter what size engine . 👍

    They say with RKTEK head provides torque at lower RPM’s for the big bore 2T. More usable power at the right rpm for lugging, hill climbs and riding a gear higher. Sounds intriguing

      Just saw the end of the video regarding 300TPI RKTek head. Look forward to that video and your impressions of the 125 👊🏼

    Cool video!
    RK Tek is cool as they will give you exactly what spec you want. A fast guy friend raised his 300's cylinder a tad to increase port height via base gaskets for a little more top end RPM, he also runs race fuel. RK Tek created a head just for his bike's specs, and man, it rips.
    Gotta run a programmable fan and a small Trail Tech digital temp gauge mounted to the center of the bars on 4Ts with Evans - an inattentive rider can melt the hoses off otherwise. The great thing about Evans is it does not puke past the cap, so the level never drops. Evans also does not corrode the system. Have run Evans in my '10 Husaberg FE 450 since it was new, the cooling system still looks like new inside. I suspect Evans is kinder to water pump seals over the long haul as well.

    Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that way about evans. I'd rather see the steam and smell it before I damage something.

    I run evans in my 2007 KTM 450xc RFS motor, I’ve ran tight Oregon single track in the summer and never saw above 200 but it’s good to know that it could possibly get too hot without boiling in a four stroke. Love the content 🤘🤘

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  3 роки тому

      Thanks man. Yeah it’s more in the hard enduro kind of stuff and in the newer bikes. The new 4T’s run hot because of how tight all the tolerances are and how much horsepower they make. Those RFS motors don’t make the temps the new ones do.

      Not sure what the actual number is but I know I will have to run 50/50 race gas at sea level

    Hey sir, just got this head and installed it on my 22 125xc.. any recommendations on jetting my carb. Im new to it, but I just bought a JD kit and trying to figure out where to start with this head insert.

      JD kit recommends 460 main jet. But with this head insert, where should I go from that in regards to the main jet / clip position? Thanks Morgan. I appreciate your help !

    I have a 2019 xcw 150. Would the rk tek insert make a noticeable difference on the bottom ? Is it necessary to change jetting if you do the insert?

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  3 роки тому

      Yes it would make a big difference to the bottom end power delivery and yeah. You need to go up on the jet sizes but I seem to only need change the main jet.

      No you chose what octane you want to run and they mill it for that compression ratio based on the octane you run, you can tell them that your going to run 87 and they’ll set it for 87
