Great review which included even its dimension specification depth , height , weight and all . As per me I love mini speakers, this is quite larger one. Will be useful for party functions and all.
Nice speakers. I currently have 40 watt speakers hooked up to my android box and by adding these to it would be a huge improvement. But then I would also have my neighbors knocking at my door ha ha. Thanks for the review. I agree on the price. A little too steep.
I’m stuck between ordering these speakers or the R1855’s . Price is a factor for me. Is there a substantially different sound difference between the R2000’s and the R1855’s? I note there’s no RCA to RCA cables in the box. Neither is there a Sub Out facility, which would have made these a 2.1 system. However, I do see the very nice 5 pin connectors at each end of the speaker cable which is an indicator that a lot of data is being transferred and converted into sound!

I wonder if it's real cherry wood, I was going to say that's way too much unless it's real cherry wood but it sounds like it. You can always upgrade the speakers in the long-run because the frame seems to be made from A+ quality.
i want these. 120 watts! this bitches must knock hard. If they came with a subwoofer too, or if a sub was connected with these...tremendo sound. Yeah for $200, too much. I can spend less than that & get a set up with more watts.But these seem like some serious speakers for a pc.
side question, not sure how watts work.. i bought a pair of SONY bookshelf speakers rated at 120w, 8ohm. was told to use a Lepai 2020a+ amp with them, apparently it barely delivers 10 watts, but it's definitely very loud and powerful as shown in reviews. how would using that amp compared to a receiver that can deliver 120 watts to the speakers differ in sound? more bass? more kick? more umph? anything can deliver volume, but wondering if the purpose of "watts" is the give speakers that kick?
Would it be worth it to pair these with an amplifier, considering they're already active speakers? I'm gonna be connecting it to a record player. It seems a bit awkward that the volume control is at the back.

Bose really do not sound good. You may have an illusion of good sound, that is until you compare them to actual speakers that do sound good.

Well these Edifiers have a built in amplifier and will give you the volume and bass at the same time. No separate AMP required.
The speaker rating is how many watts they can handle without blowing up. If the speakers are efficient 10 watts can be very loud.

You just need a phono preamp with a volume control. The speakers also have a remote control for volume etc.
