Love the project, in the middle of a hatch type x ‘resto’ but of a much lower degree. Love to see it all come together. Helps keep me motivated on mine.
That is quite a story. It sure seems like it was meant to be. It is going to be so exciting to see this car suspension assembled now. Hopefully you can have it reasy to display at Wek Fest, June 11th Seattle Convention Center.
do you recon you could do a video or even just a detailed comment on places you have used, or know where you got factory parts, or good quality aftermarket parts for people who may also be doing a restoration?
Hey, sorry for the delayed response! Not sure I have enough info for a full video on the topic but happy to share what I do have. As far as OEM parts, I’d always try my go-to US sources like NissanPartsCC or Nissan Parts Deal first. If they didn’t have it or it was discontinued, I’d check my sources in Japan like Nengun, RHDJapan, or Amayama. I found that occasionally parts discontinued in the US were available still in Japan, but that’s not always the case. Just be sure to think about what’s RHD vs LHD specific. I ordered a new e-brake for the S14 not considering the fact that it’s different fir a RHD car and found out the hard way when I went to install it. If none of those places had what I was looking for, I’d check eBay or yahoo actions Japan. As far as aftermarket parts, Drift HQ and TF Works are go to! Both companies take great care of their customers, stock great products, and are enthusiast run. Hope that helps!
Of course! It’s not the previous owner, just the guy who was hired to do the undercoating restoration but still a few good videos showing the process. youtube.com/@hokkai_media

Hey, sorry for the super delayed response! Sounds like an awesome car. For what you're looking to do, I'd keep it simple and replace common wear items like bushings and suspension components as needed. If you want to improve the handling, a nice set of struts and springs or coilovers would be a great addition. Other, keep that thing clean and enjoy it!
@avengednick Hello, thank you for response. It's a daughter and dad project. Her first car. Did exactly what you suggested. Brand new KYB Agx adjustable struts/& shocks, as well as new BF Good Radial TA's on original perfect rims. Wish I could send a picture. Thank you for advice, well understood, as car is otherwise stock. (New steering rack boots) at NAPA now. Cheers 🍻...
Yes, I had to reupload since the last 4 minutes got cut off on the upload earlier. Next video on the S13 will be getting the new gas tank and radium fuel system ran!
The quality of the build is just sick. Your channel deserves millions of views. True JDM enthusiast heaven. Thank you!
Thanks man, appreciate the kind words!

Can’t wait to see this on the ground!
Getting closer! Should have all the suspension bits and gas filler neck back from powder coat tomorrow!
That oem red paint job almost makes me question starting to paint my white hatch Porsche Mexico Blue.
The older I get, the more I appreciate a car being it’s original color and hot red is just such a good color!
did you use mass backing/plush cut on your carpet
Yes, I did order it with the mass back and plush cut

Thanks, man! I knew I had to buy it when the opportunity presented itself

@@avengednick Oh ok, Good video as always man 🔥
Is this car older then you. ( my guess is it)
Yup! Got me beat by 3 years

@@avengednick no I mean overall it feels like the same video as the other videos you made ( in my opinion ) 🤷🏽♂️
With just a little more sprinkles
But what do I know I’m just a automotive painter 240 junkie 🥴
