Thank you Throtl for transforming my Grandson’s 1990 240 SX. You guys Killed it. I loved what you all did. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Thanks again. David
The Throtl UA-cam page has gotten so much better this past year. What other automotive UA-cam channel is putting out FULL TRANSFORMATION videos on a regular basis?
Without a doubt one of the coolest subscriber builds you guys have done so far! Im very jealous! I love the car and the purple on white. Looks so good.
This is probably the best Dream Build so far. The upgrades were tasteful, the winner was a class act (Shout out to Grandpa!), and seeing the 240 next to it's whippersnapper nephew at O'Reilly was a nice touch. Throtl is by far one of the best shops in the nation allowing us all to live out our automotive dreams car after car after car. Hopefully one day my car is in your shop. Truly some bucket list material.
I am happy to see them do a second S13 and put a different spin on it. Guys don't be afraid repeat a chassis if you can do the rebuild justice. The white wheels were the perfect choice they go well with either the purple wrap or the original red paint.
thats a Cusco Front strut tower for a CA18 s13. that should clear the single jingle. from the video it looks as the strut tower bars was assembled backwards so it won't clear the intake or valve cover. the angled side of the bar should be on the intake manifold side.
What a gesture to have his grandpa take the first drive. Kudos to the sponsors and Throtl team for making this kids dream vehicle. Have never seen these videos before, but was referred to watch this video. Glad I checked it out!
My uncle used to own a 1993 Nissan 200 SX 1.8 turbo which was a really big deal back in the day in Romania. He had 175 HP when we had "normal" cars with 55 HP. I remember that he was very fond of his car. Sadly he passed away during the Pandemic 2 years ago and seeing your video brought a lot of memories. It is a pleasure to see another great car being customized the way it really deserves. Great job as always, guys, and congrats to the winner!
I miss my S13 more than any other car I've owned. I don't have e a car right now, seeing this really made me smile and remember those times 😊 Thank you.
The team at Throtl is so detail oriented. It blows.my mind that each one of them zones in and deliveries the very best that they can on every single build. The build quality is always so nice.
Those maintenance videos I like the most. The most simple stuff is the most crucial ones. Many people don't even change motor oil! Let alone Trans oil or dif oil. Keep up the good work greetings from Greece
Beautiful build guys! And it seems like he was a great person to win this build. Him letting his grandfather drive the car first was very cool of him, you can tell how much his grandfather liked the car and the drive. Keep up the amazing quality videos and changing lives!
It makes me so happy that there's a market out there for rebuilding cars to last longer vs. getting a new one. Keep up the good work, because you're some of my favorite UA-camrs ever.
My first 240sx was a white 1990 coupe S13 that I bought from my friend Yasohiro with like 240k miles on it and the old KA kicked the bucket. Imported an SR20 red top and my dad and cousin helped dropped the motor swap in but we never finished the wiring, my dad ended up getting stage 4 throat cancer around the time and shortly passed. A few years later I was able to get the car out of storage but the undercarriage was so rusted out from being a northern car, I luckily found an excellent S13 hatch '92 that I was able to have a shop re-swap the motor and finish out everything, while doing several serious upgrades for the entirety of the car, (I wanted to honor my dad's vibe for the project) and spared no expense. When it was finally finished and streetable I had such a feeling of accomplishment and not only seeing a long term project finally come to life, but I felt like my dad would have (or was, at the time) smiling down on me for completing the project and getting it on the road. Lol I'm a girl so I can only do so much under the hood but was always drawn to import sports cars from Japan. This all happened between 2007-2014 and I unfortunately sold my built out 240sx in 2014 because I was in desperate need of cash, thinking, there will always be another one...I can pick up and build later on down the road...sadly at almost 40 now, those days and hopes (especially market wise) are gone but the memories of working on that project car with my dad will always be some of the greatest memories and learning experiences of my life. 180's, 240's and Silvia's for life ❤
This is definitely one of the cleanest 240SX S13 build ever made by you guys! That RB body kit looks so much better without the wide fenders and you did an amazing job! Can’t wait to see more from you guys next year in 2024 🙌
That's so cool his grandpa kept the car all this time, and it didn't die being a drift missle. It's in great shape. I'm genuinely happy for the kid. He has a sweet 240.
That thing is sweet! The 97 240sx is my favorite and i want one bad. So cool that grampa could be there and enjoy the car too. This is bonafide car guy stuff! 💪🏆
Im honestly heartbroken that I wasnt able to enter one of these dream builds before my car was totaled, but at the same time it makes my day being able to see someone get their dream build and enjoy their vehicle even further. I honestly can never get enough of these videos and the content that throtl makes.
Hello Throtl Team, I extend my heartfelt salute to you for the kindness you consistently demonstrate towards all your supporters and subscribers. As a devoted fan hailing from the Philippines, I have been a regular viewer of your videos, always envisioning the day when I can own a car crafted with the same passion and expertise that characterizes your builds for subscribers and raffle winners. Your dedication to excellence is truly commendable, and I applaud the positive impact you have on the automotive community. Your work not only inspires individuals like myself but also contributes to fostering a sense of camaraderie among car enthusiasts. I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the good deeds you undertake and the inspiration you provide to countless people. May you continue to thrive and inspire, bringing more power to your endeavors.
It's my dream to have an s chassis. I think my favorite is the s13 coupe. So expensive though to find one clean enough especially in my location. So happy for Gabriel to have something so clean and his grandfather being so into this 240sx
I'm all for the body wrap, but I REALLY wish they would've wrapped that midnight purple on all the major parts of the car where it still has original factory red on.
The best Chanel of its kind Whatever you make you do it very beautiful. Every time professional work and top brand names for accessories and parts. All the team is great and with a lot of knowledge in the field of cat industry
I LOVE the all mods in one video style stuff and super appreciate the investment you guys are putting Into doing a build this way I fully understand the loss in number of videos to be able to put it all in one but it's super enjoyable to watch and Quinn and Ricky have the best energy. It's rare I watch an entire video from start to finish but I always do with these videos. Much love team.
From grandfather to grandson. I hope in the future, I can do the same for my kids. The cruise at the end was sick! Y'all should put more of those in your videos so we can see more rollers ✌️
Just when I think you can't outdo a last build, you keep blessing someone ✨️ even better.. the details you guys pay attention to, it sets you guys at the top of your field. I wish my Lexus would get the attention you bless others with..
Awesome job guys. Much respect 🫡. To Quinn, Ricky, and Mickey outstanding team work to make this dream build a success. Can’t wait to see more in the future. 🙏🙏🙏
I just want to say much love to yall for helping young people in the car community build there dream cars yall are so amazing for this I hope one day I can have this experience of have my own car done
I still love watching these dream builds so much. I hope I have a shot at being the next dream build of my 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo. It would completely change my life. Keep making these awesome builds and I'm going to keep watching.
Honestly I wonder how you guys just pick a subscriber and help them it’s amazing seeing you guys give back to the community and seeing how this build turned out looks amazing I wish I could be picked one day for my 1996 Honda Civic EX
Mad much love, respect and appreciation for all of the time and hard work in parts that you guy's put in on this 240sx. I'm definitely entering the next contest with my 96 Ford Probe SE
To have his grandad own the car then pass it on and be so happy and proud with how it came out is so sick. Not only it’s this pretty much a dream 200sx (uk name) for me but to see it go to such a cool guy and his grandad/oh owner is so sick
Dream car, beautiful build. My dad had one back when f&f first came out and it's the car he first taught me how to do bodywork on, we installed a body kit and moulded it, decals, sound system etc and maintenance. I've always wanted to get one again but the prices are just shocking in Scotland
Incredible build, gentlemen! This grandfather was wise to hold on to that very sought-after car! The only note I have for you guys would have been to modify the brackets on the seats. Everyone builds them too tall
You guys are awesome I couldn’t even fathom having something like this happen to me, amazing work I used to love driving my manual rsx before I money shifted lol but maybe one day I can get back into it just had a daughter so have to put that on hold 😅. Keep up the great work throtl we love you
This is amazing, to see this happen for him, I mean, we all want to be there, right...my dream supra from the first F&F but the movie that I love and hate because of the rise in prices but Hey Throtl Team excellent job, you guys are the best!
My dream car is a c6 corvette in a bright yellow with a beautiful cam. Nice black rims and spyder headlights and of course a little lower than stock. This is just a light overview of what I wish to have one day but there is so much more I want in hopefully my future car.
90% of drivers and cars in South Africa drive clutch and the 240 is a favorite.... so no surprise , most Clutch supplies will probably be from South Africa
Clutch from South Africa😂,i'm from South Africa😂. Must say i love all throtl's builds, getting to see the transformations and even learning something new. I hope i ever get to visit you guys some day for a tour👌. Awesome work.

Respect to the kid for letting his grandpa drive first. Shows he was raised right.

BIG FACTS!
Class act
True, but you saw that the kid doesn't know how to drive a car like that.. maybe soon xD
Letting his Grandpa take the first ride was a class act. You can also see how excited Grandpa was when it was revealed!
Would love throttle to transform my wrx for me

That’s my cousin’s car! So happy you guys could do this for him!
Without a doubt one of the coolest subscriber builds you guys have done so far! Im very jealous! I love the car and the purple on white. Looks so good.
This series is amazing giving back to the community and showing the process too. These builds always turn out beautiful
Ricky and Quinn are amazing mechanics. They make me wanna drive across the country just to get some work done on my car 🤣

South African clutch. 🇿🇦 hell yeah.
This is the best subscribers build. Really looks JDM. The white wheels, the kit, negative camber.

ooo.. that makes sense .. I'll try that see if it works .. thank you.
Thanks. I'll pick it up, flip it, and reverse it. See if that works. Thanks
What a gesture to have his grandpa take the first drive. Kudos to the sponsors and Throtl team for making this kids dream vehicle. Have never seen these videos before, but was referred to watch this video. Glad I checked it out!

That actually came out nice, I think because the fender flares were left off, it makes a HUGE difference. Awesome job guys!
gabriel is such a genuine person i’m so glad you guys could make his dream build a reality !!
Getting to see that man drive his car like that is something special. This is my favorite dream build because of that. Great job guys.

The clutch you took off is a LUK clutch, made in RSA, kinda the go to for standard clutch replacement
I love this crew! And I love the idea of this. Great connection with your audience and content.
I love those headlights the most lol. Don’t get me wrong, the whole car looks amazing. That part is just my favorite.

Tastefully done, that purple was a solid choice. A NM car at that, I hope you enjoy it!
His grandpa looks like my dad. Seeing that smile when he first drove it again has me tearing up in the gym. 🥲
cool car in the hands of a reliable mechanic, great friend

Under some angels this car reminds me porche 944, like frl it looks so similar!
What a blessing these guys gave him , I would be alot more emotional. I would love to see a VR4 3000gt my favorite car and no shows give it love.
The cruise at the end was like Father son and grandchild GTR 240Sx and 400Z
Dream car, beautiful build. My dad had one back when f&f first came out and it's the car he first taught me how to do bodywork on, we installed a body kit and moulded it, decals, sound system etc and maintenance. I've always wanted to get one again but the prices are just shocking in Scotland

You guys should do a 1994 Chevy Camaro just saying so I can get some ideas for my build in the future. You guys are great and do awesome builds
Thank you for not hacking that car up with a widebody.
For sure but I would have just wrapped the body kit with black, red, or carbon fiber and kept the red
This is amazing, to see this happen for him, I mean, we all want to be there, right...my dream supra from the first F&F but the movie that I love and hate because of the rise in prices but Hey Throtl Team excellent job, you guys are the best!
That’s an amazing transformation! Like anyone else , I would love to be the next winner of Throtl Dream Build . Let’s goooooo!!!
