    I miss real late night talent like Johnny Carson. I saw Slim live in Laughlin in 1987. He and his son were fantastic.

    People wanted to make fun of him but they couldn’t…..he was simply such a talented singer and an extremely nice humble gentleman. We need more Slim Whitman’s.

    2024 I just watched the 1952 Slim WHITMAN singing ,Indian love call. Before watching here. What a beautiful and unique voice

    Many of the 5:30 show ..Burbank studio..free..get there 4:30 stand in line…smoke a dude…go in and watch Carson…the best ever, probably 50 times…

    That song was a hit in the USA around the late 50s or early 60s. I don't recall the name of the singer but it wasn't Whitman.

      It was not uncommon in the Fifties to have multiple artists hit with the same song, pretty much at the same time. And he was singing standards that had been performed since the 1920s.
